The first time I used this jacket it kept me quite dry.... until the zipper ripped and the product became useless.

I ordered The Northface rain jacket from Outnorth SE. I wore it 2 times and there was rubbing on the hood on the inner layer. The same problem has already been described in reviews on this site. I complained to the shop 2 months ago. Outnorth acknowledged the complaint, asked for more pictures, the jacket was sent to them for analysis and I was informed that it would be repaired. After 2 months, I received information from a shop employee that the jacket had been repaired and would be sent back to me. Yesterday I received the jacket with the annotation: FAULT: Faulty Velcro (Info from The North Face) Action: Repair. But the problem was a worn-out inner part of the hood after 2 times of use not Faulty Velcro (sic!) This is what my jacket looks like after repairs. Nothing has been done. I bought the jacket in the autumn and have only used it 2 times. Now we are in winter and it is no longer of any use to me,

This product is not waterproof at all. How do you design and rain jacket that isn't waterproof? Where is the recall? Not buying from Patagonia again.

No DWR. Taken for some hikes in some light snow/ rain, it wetted out in 30 minutes every time. Had this issue from factory and after trying to renew the DWR.

The garment bills it self as the top of the line TNF water proofing gear. I have to say this is just not good. I was out in a short rain storm and it wetted out with in minutes. This was a brand new jacket wear number like 4 from the factory. So this is not a case of it was dirty and needed a DWR refresh. I gave it a cleaning and attempted to refresh the DWR and it still wets through badly.

My girlfriend brought this home for me, I'm not even paying for it, and I'm making her return it. I would never wear this. It is so uncomfortable. I cannot figure out how this is supposed to be worn. Would the caller open it looks ridiculous, with the collar closed it rides my chin. The hood does not sit flush on the back, it's just sort of crumpled up back there. It doesn't really hang. It's sort of sticks out because it's too short. The material is great. Other than that, I hate it.

Not waterproof. Very breathable, but completely useless because it lost all waterproof abilities after a few months of light wear.
