This is incredibly soft and warm. The only fault I find is that I'm not sure the fleece layer has been pre-washed for any potential shrinkage because the side pockets (great feature) don't seem to line up with the flannel since washing the hoodie? With that said, I would recommend it.

I purchased the fleeced-lined kids flannel years ago and still love it. I'm a petite adult but it fits great. Just wished they would offer it without the hood. I think parents would still purchase it for their kids without the hood and it opens it up to small adults without an annoying hood.

Got this for my 12 year old who is 5'4" tall and very slim. He loves it, but it just barely fits him. He'll grow out of it quickly. I got the size 14-16 thinking that would be plenty big - other LL Bean clothes are a bit large for him in that size range. I am looking for the next size up but they are out of stock of anything but size 8. My son absolutely loves this shirt so I will continue to look for a larger size over the coming months. Another LL Bean hit!

My son absolutely loves these, I bought 2. He is 10.5 slightly taller than his classmates (his dad is 6'5"), but not overly so, he's also really thin. If I'd ordered by chest size-I'd have gotten a 10-12 (he wears a 12 slim pants w/adjustable waist for his height, his waist is a 10) I'm glad I ordered a 14-16! It's almost a perfect fit now, he can still wear it as an over shirt/jacket with a shirt under it, but I thought it'd give him room for a hoody-no way! He might, but then not be able to button it. The arms are a perfect fit now. Next year it'll fit like a glove/regular shirt. Prob have to cuff sleeves up. That said-it is VERY nice quality, warm soft fleece lined even in the sleeves. Unfortunately...wash on COLD & DRY LOW! Bummed about that, wish they'd prewash like the men's! I'm taking a star off because if I forget and wash on warm it'll probably shrink!

The shirt was very soft, as well as the fleece lining; however, it was much smaller in size than the other flannel shirts in the same size.

This was purchased to replace an outgrown and thoroughly worn out version from some years ago. The quality appears much "lighter duty" than the previous version, with thinner outer flannel and lighter inner lining than before. The snaps are well attached and should hold up reasonably well. Too much money for the quality, but still better than the alternatives I could find for children. Fit was accurately sized but narrower than before.

Worn and washed once, yes I followed the washing directions, and it looks several years old. Sincerely disappointed, as you expect better for the price and the brand.

My son loved this sweatshirt. He found it so soft and never wanted to take it off. The problem is we have only had it for less than three months and he already has tears in each elbow. The first one we tried to fix with a patch thinking he must have snagged it on something, but two holes in the same place on each arm is ridiculous. I bought him another one for christmas and I am considering returning it. Its a bummer because he looked and felt good in it.

The size was correct but the jacket was way too small and had to be returned.

Very poor stitching. The stitching on the inside is scratchy. The minute I saw the stitching I knew my granddaughter would not like it. This "lined" flannel shirt is not lined. It is a flannel that has polar fleece glued to it. I am horribly disappointed in the quality of this shirt and that LLBean has put their name on it.
