This lunch box works well. I like that it has a mesh pocket on the inside and outside. It also has a tag on the inside to put a name. I like that it matches his backpack.

Not happy with the size, seems the slightly different shape feels smaller. I truly miss the second zipper pull which was helpful when trying to zip up a full lunchbox. It was nice to be able to pull and close the zipper from both sides.

The lunch bag is smaller than expected. A small food thermos can be squeezed into the bag. Quality is less than expected for LLBean and the price point.

Smaller than i realized Also could use a zipper pocket to store cold pack. But it is well made.

Wish this terrific bag was just a little bit bigger so I could fit in my kiddos bento boxes. I had my kindergartener's initials placed on hers when I ordered so sadly can't return it. Had to buy a whole new bento that she'll outgrow in a year because it's so small.

3 stars for quality. But it is just so small. It's not bad bag but just wasn't right for our needs.

This is a great little lunch box. Perfect size for what I bring. I do wish the sides were more rigid. I find often that the box has flattened down and my sandwich is also flat.

Smaller than i thought it would be. Wish it had a shoulder strap. Barely holds my 2 drinks, ice pack and snack.

I purchased this lunch box, Guide Gold Crag color/style, for when I occasionally want to take a snack, drink and small ice pack. Lunch box is OK, but it needs a shoulder strap or belt to make it easy to carry. Luckily I used Bean Bucks toward this so only paid $5 of real money!

This is a well constructed bag it was just too small and odd for us. It's about 6x9" on the inside and pretty shallow. A sandwich takes up nearly the width and when we used the ice packs from LLBean in the interior pocket, all the food get smashed down. There's definitely no room for a drink. You have to make sure you load the heavier stuff on the left side because, though you load it horizontally, it's carried vertically. However, this is 1.5 school years we've used it, not daily, but it still looks brand new. I think it would be ok for preschoolers or small children (or adults who aren't very hungry LOL). Very good quality, we're just going back to the flip top style.

We went to the store in Freeport, ME while on vacation. We had this lunchbox monogrammed and shipped back home. It arrived a week later and the lunchbox itself is great but the monogramming they did at the store is horrible. I reached out to customer service and they only offered me a refund if I shipped it back, I could take it back to the store to have them redo it (not an option since we are hundreds of miles away) or they could redo the monogram but only with 3 initials and not with the full name. Very disappointed in the quality of the monogram.

Just got my grandson's lunchbox, very disappointed in the monogram which is not the same as the nicely filled out lettering we've had in the past - there has been a redigitizing of the font, resulting in thin block lettering, vs. the bolder block previously. It doesn't stand out! Please talk to your monogram designers! (also, why doesn't the 'lime' thread match the lime shark color?)

This is a great small lunchbox. Now that my kids are in preschool, they need a bigger portion. The pattern is cute. The pockets are functional. It is just a little small.

Note this is a child-sized lunch box and it is significantly smaller than the similar adult version. I did look at the dimensions before ordering, but I was disappointed when I received the item as it really is quite small and I won't be able to use it.

After just over a month of use the lunch bag has developed small holes in the lining. We don't pack anything sharp, and only use kids sporks for lunches, so there's no reason for it to have torn so easily. There are wrinkled wear spots on the sides that I have no doubt will eventually rip as well. There are cureently two side tears and one on the corner seam. Additionally, the interior seems to stain easily, and the tag (with a spot for contact info, implying permanence) is placed right by the zipper, so it gets stuck and wrinkled. I would not recommend this product or buy it again. I'm trying to submit photos with my review but they aren't loading.

The lunch box itself is great but don't waste your money on the monogram; it's minuscule and not worth the $8.

After working remotely for 2+ years, my company is now returning to the office. I bought the flower pattern lunch bag to perk me up while packing my lunch every morning. I paid extra for a monogram as a special treat to myself, and as you can see in the pic, the monogram is TINY and hardly noticeable. I previewed the monogram multiple times, but in the preview you cannot tell where the monogram will actually be placed on the lunch bag. Overall I like this bag, but do NOT spend extra for the monogram.

Nicely made, pretty colors but I thought a bentgo fresh container was going to fit as it did in the other pattern of this same lunch bag. Not sure why this one is smaller.

This one is sized a bit differently, making it super snug for our regular lunch containers to fit (this is our third one from llbean, so we know it should go in easily). Hard for little hands to manage on their own. Got it monogrammed, so can't return.

Great lunchbox, but the monogram is so small you can barely see it. Disappointed in what we got for the price.

Great lunchbox with very easy zipper (big deal for 4 year old), but it needs a side mesh pocket for a water bottle.

I really only got this because it matched the backpack I purchased. Although it is well made and cute, it could be a bit wider. It would also be better if the handle on top had a latch so that you could attach it to the backpack handle. My other daughter's lunchbox has this feature and it comes in handy. Other than that, it is a good but not great lunchbox.

Great looking lunchbox, good quality zipper and material as expected from LL Bean! Good size for a smaller lunch box. The monogram looks beautiful! An issue with it is the size of the handle. I bought it for my 6 year old son and we live in upstate NY. In his LLBean backpack he carries his library book, snow pants, sneakers and class folder. So there is no space in there for his lunch box and he hand carries it. It is cold here and he wears mittens but trying to fit his hand in the handle is very difficult and awkward so he ends up doing a football hold with it. It would only need a couple more inches of material, just enough for a kid with a mitten on to easily grasp it.

It is much smaller than I expected it to be. I have a hard case i put my kids food in so it doesn't get crushed and I can't fit anything else in there. I wish there was a pocket on the outside for a water bottle. If shark print wasn't so hard to find in stock I would try to find a different lunch box.
