I bought the dinosaur-print lunch box about a year ago before I started working in an elementary school. I loved the print as an adult, and a lot of the kids also liked it! It was the perfect size for me to fit my ice pack (which I put in the inside mesh), lunch, and many snacks! I am one of those food over-preparers, and always packed more food than necessary, but it all fit! It fit well into my backpack too. The insulation is really incredible. My lunch was always cold (my students would ask why I had cold potato chips!). Before I moved closer to my job, I could go 12+ hours between packing my lunch and putting the ice packs back in the freezer for the next day. Even after 12 hours, the cheap/thin ice packs were still half frozen! I think that is amazing. The lunch box is still in great shape (despite getting knocked around at recess) and I plan on using it again next year! My only complaint is that it can get hard to clean depending on what you spill inside. It's easy to wipe the inside, but after a while, little crumbs can get stuck in the corners.

Bought this for my special needs daughter. Was a little concerned it might be too small for her special lunch containers etc. It's actually a great size. I love the pocket on the inside. Hoping this is nice and durable like the bookbag. :)

This lunchbox, if you can keep up with it, is the only one you'll ever need - ever! The size is perfect, and even fits nicely inside a backpack. We've used carabiners to attach it to the outside of our backpacks as well. We've also washed it in the washing machine on cold about 1x a week, and it has held up nicely! It's just the right size for a full lunch, but not too bulky to be used for a snack pack when needed. The mesh ice pack compartment keeps the food separated from direct contact with the ice, yet still keeps food nice and chill for hours. I can think of absolutely no way this lunchbox has room for improvements, as it's already the best.

Great size for a kids lunch box for school. Plenty of space to pack all of their food without having to use plastic bags. Cleans up easy and my kids love them!

I purchased one of these for my eldest for preschool. Several months later, I came back and purchased another for my 2nd. Now several years after that, I returned to purchase yet another for my youngest. They serve us well, LLBean! Thank you!

Nice! Smaller than I expected but seems to fit, sandwich, fruit, chips, 1 other snack and a small ice pack if necessary. Girls like the colors.

This was a gift for my 10 year old grandson who is absolutely into everything military/camouflague. Personalizing with his initials really surprised him. I have no doubt of the quality as I purchased many LL Bean products for my children that are still being put to good use!

Great size, the pocket for ice packs is great, keeps things cold, the outer pocket is convenient, as is the low-profile but usable handle, but my only (daily) annoyance is the placement of nametag on the zipper - it gets caught in closing all the time and I am about to cut it off, which is frustrating because then I have to figure out a different way to label them.

This was useful on a plein air painting trip, but I could not fit a sandwich plus an apple into it.

It is a beautiful bag with unique colors and the monogram was perfect. I used a very small ice pack, and my food (sliced cheese) stayed cold for 4 hours.

The size and shape of the lunch box is great. I wish the handle was a bit longer. It's hard to fit even a child-sized hand underneath the strap. Feels like a cost cutting measure.

When I first got the lunchbox I was worried, it looked a little small and I thought it wouldn't fit the bentgo box lunchboxes - but it fits! I'm able to put the bentgo lunchbox and a juice box in the main part with an icepack and an afternoon snack in the outside zippered pocket so it worked out perfect.

The bag quality was wonderful but the monogram quality was not!

It's wonderful, however I find that more than one container does not fit nicely in it. It could be an inch wider and it would be perfect!

Holds sufficient for a meal on the go and is well insulated to work with a cool-pack if needed. It'll hold a water bottle, sandwich and couple of yoghurt pots and utensils.

I bought the red for my son thinking it would be a true red. However, it just arrived for his Easter basket and unfortunately the red is more like a berry color. Aside from the misrepresentation of the color, the lunch box is great! We'll still have to return it though.

Seems fine. Kind of small. Make sure to read the dimensions. Probably last purchase from LL bean since they donated so much to the Republican Party. That's disappointing.

It's been a few years since I've had to purchase one of these. This one is a little narrower than years past, but it seems to be the same quality we have expected from LLBean and should last many years.

Good quality and the patterns are cute. It's being put to the toddler test and passing so far.

Great little lunch box that lasts a long time if not abused. Had old one for years and years, but zipper started to fray and get stuck, so got another. Daughter had first one since Jr High, now 29 and carries lunch to work again. Wasn't used constantly all those years, but it was still fine when dug out after college. Would rate 5 stars, but how can you possibly rate a lunch box 5 stars?

Very pretty and great quality. I do wish it was a little taller to fit her Stanley bottle.
