They have switched the top zipper on this product, but this is basically the same lunch box. We bought this for our son when he was 3 years old for preschool. He carried his lunch in this lunch box every day until he graduated from high school. He was never a fan of school lunches, so this was used and abused for 15 years. This was some of the best money we spent on supplies for his education. Thank you for putting a product out that stands its ground and is worth every penny.

Purchase this for my daughter who likes to take her lunch to school. I sometimes question LL Bean's color choices, but the fresh mint is spot on. Very hip with the sixth grade crowd. If you're worried about this getting dirty, it washes easily in the washing machine on the cold setting; just let air dry.

Great quality, build, monogramming, and color. I bought a matching LL Bean monogrammed junior backpack. My nephew loved this gift.

This lunchbox is great- keeps food nice and cool when you put an ice pack in it, and is large enough to hold a medium size lunch container (approx 10oz) and a utensil set plus the ice pack. For this, this is all it can hold and I bring my water separately in a lunch bottle, however, I think it is probably the perfect size for kids.

Love this lunchbox. Our son's lasted for four years- washed great and stayed in great shape. He's a junior now and we finally had to replace it- we were so happy LL Bean still carries the same style!

Good size to fit in book bag or carry, we use a Yumbox and it fits perfectly but still some room to spare so we can put a yogurt or small container on top of it if needed and it still zips.

This lunchbox is great for long school days. It fits in backpacks well and keeps food cold all school day.

My son loves this new lunchbox. He has room for ice packs if he needs them.

It is roomy, lightweight, and holds up well. I've got one I've used for at least a year, maybe two. I just ordered two more for other members of the family.

I purchased this to hold other items because it was the ideal size. So this isn't just for foods, IMHO. Durable zipper, insulated & lining cleans easy and doesn't hold odors ever. I've been buying these for over 15+ Yrs. Never had anything break, tear or unravel ever. Well worth the price & more. YMMV.

Fits thermos boxes perfectly as well. There's an inside mesh Velcro pouch where I put their lunch notes to send a smile. Super durable well made. The pink is definitely a brighter pink which I love. L.L. Bean PLEASE come back with the neon colors for the backpacks & lunchboxes! I grew up with the same neon lime green backpack. I would still have it if it wasn't lost in a move. Some people may have a problem with price but not me you get what you pay for and MORE!
