I absolutely love this lunch box. I've been using it for about 5 months now and can't say enough good things about it. I've really put it through the wringer, but you wouldn't be able to tell - it still looks brand new. It's just the right size for my lunch (typically a mid-sized glass leftovers container, a couple of pieces of fruit and a granola bar). I don't often use the front, zippered pocket, so you could carry even more. For me, the most useful feature is the two loops of webbing on the ends of the zippers. I've put carabiners through each of them which allows me to attach it to the handle of my briefcase. Carrying my lunch this way has reduced the stress on my expensive leather briefcase and should extend its life.

Over the past few years, we have bought 3 LL Bean lunch boxes. Even the oldest lunch box has retained its shape -- and our 2 older kids have really put their boxes through their paces by cramming them into their backpacks to cart home along w/their books. None of the colors have faded, and none of the exteriors show any signs of stains. With a small icepack, they keep foods cold until at least lunchtime. Just like the LL Bean backpacks, we expect these to last and last.

Not huge- perfect size for a sandwich or tupperware container and some snacks. Easy to clean, dries quickly. Been using daily for over a year and absolutely zero smells, zero stains. Love that you can basically flatten it when its empty, saves a lot of space.

We love this lunch box! VERY durable. Nice size, lightweight/not bulky but yet big enough to fit everything nicely for adult or child. Love the zipper pocket on outside front, nice for napkins, utensils & hand wipes. Easy to clean. All you have to do is wipe. Smooth inside; no seams to try clean around...very nice! This is our second purchase of this lunch box. Will purchase again. Thanks LL Bean!

My parents got me one of these lunch boxes in 2003, right before I started 4th grade. I took it back and forth to school nearly every day up until I graduated in 2012, and it's come with me to various summer jobs since then. While its original color (purple?) has been more or less lost to history under nearly 14 years worth of dirt, it's still structurally sound overall, and probably will continue to be so for years to come.

I bought this in the summer of 2015 for my son's freshman year. It's still going strong. I just love LL Bean items. The quality is superb. It fits all of his lunch items perfectly inside and he can easily fit this in his LL Bean backpack. Thanks LL Bean for the awesome products you provide.

I bought this for my little grandson, who had demolished his lunchbox already this school year. He loves having his initials on it and I think it will hold up much better than his first lunchbox. It looks like it is made of quality material.

This lunchbox is a quality product - beautiful color and beautiful craftsmanship. (I bought the Royal blue.) I am very pleased with it and highly recommend it. I was worried because we have always used the kind of lunchbox that stands up with the opening at the top. I wasn't sure we would like the horizontal orientation of this lunchbox but it works just fine. Nothing moves when the lunchbox is upright. Love it!!!

My son has used this lunchbox for a year and a half and it still looks new! It's easy to clean and the zipper is sturdy. He has spilled everything in it, including yogurt, strawberries, blueberries, and it all wipes right off with a wet paper towel without staining. Sizing is great for a lunch - sandwich Tupperware plus 2 or 3 smaller Tupperwares/snack-sized items and a small ice pack. Pockets are good for napkins, utensils, etc. He also loves having his initials on anything, so personalization is always a bonus for him!

This lunch bag is wonderful! I like that it has a handle, as my kids carry it from their classroom to cafeteria each day. The entire bag is very durable, even the inside lining, which is great because we've had others that tear easily and don't keep food cool as well after that. I can fit many different sized containers inside the bag, and also like the velcro pouch for an ice block. Overall a very sharp looking and functional bag, and I love the monograms!!

I am very happy with my recent purchase of the llbean lunch box for children. It comes in a variety of colors, and the monogramming looks great. I purchased this per the suggestion of my daughter for my grandson. Mother approved! I would definitely recommend this item.

I have used this bag for many years, and I have also given them as gifts to all my nephews and nieces. Everyone loves them, as much as I do !

Great size, the pocket for ice packs is great, keeps things cold, the outer pocket is convenient, as is the low-profile but usable handle, but my only (daily) annoyance is the placement of nametag on the zipper - it gets caught in closing all the time and I am about to cut it off, which is frustrating because then I have to figure out a different way to label them.

This was useful on a plein air painting trip, but I could not fit a sandwich plus an apple into it.

It is a beautiful bag with unique colors and the monogram was perfect. I used a very small ice pack, and my food (sliced cheese) stayed cold for 4 hours.

The size and shape of the lunch box is great. I wish the handle was a bit longer. It's hard to fit even a child-sized hand underneath the strap. Feels like a cost cutting measure.

When I first got the lunchbox I was worried, it looked a little small and I thought it wouldn't fit the bentgo box lunchboxes - but it fits! I'm able to put the bentgo lunchbox and a juice box in the main part with an icepack and an afternoon snack in the outside zippered pocket so it worked out perfect.

The bag quality was wonderful but the monogram quality was not!

It's wonderful, however I find that more than one container does not fit nicely in it. It could be an inch wider and it would be perfect!

Holds sufficient for a meal on the go and is well insulated to work with a cool-pack if needed. It'll hold a water bottle, sandwich and couple of yoghurt pots and utensils.

I bought the red for my son thinking it would be a true red. However, it just arrived for his Easter basket and unfortunately the red is more like a berry color. Aside from the misrepresentation of the color, the lunch box is great! We'll still have to return it though.

Seems fine. Kind of small. Make sure to read the dimensions. Probably last purchase from LL bean since they donated so much to the Republican Party. That's disappointing.

It's been a few years since I've had to purchase one of these. This one is a little narrower than years past, but it seems to be the same quality we have expected from LLBean and should last many years.

Good quality and the patterns are cute. It's being put to the toddler test and passing so far.
