A durable, quality product expected from LL Bean! The pink rainbow tie dye was purhased for my 7 yr old daughter for school. It is the right size for her now and hopefully will last for several years. My son has had his Explorer backpack 4 years and it has held up great. The straps are troublesome sometimes as they tend to slide off smaller shoulders - a chest strap would be a great addition!

My niece loved it! I have used LL Bean before with my sons and their bags literally lasted for many years!

Our kindergartener loves it. It's just the right size for her books and a lunchbox, with rooms to grow.

The second grader I got this for loved it so much he didn't wait for school to start before using it. It's sturdy and has great storage options. The camo pattern is perfect for an Oregon boy who loves fishing, bird watching and the woods in general.

Great quality. Sturdy stitching. My son loves the design. Love that it has a separate pocket for his school IPAD. I ordered my other children's backpacks from here many years ago. They carried them through both Middle and High school. The zippers and fabric held up thru years of use (abuse). Would definitely recommend.

This is a sturdy, backpack, beautifully made with lots of inside pockets and outside compartments. A great value for the money.

With its multiple compartments and padded straps, this bag is perfect for school and travel. I bought this for my first-grade child and the size is just right. He wears the bag comfortably and it's big enough that it will last through the rest of elementary school. It's also a great bag to use as a carry-on.

Great size for elementary; love the ergonomic design of the straps. I wish the cup holders were fabric rather than the netting material, but hopefully these will last.

Bought the shark print which was my 8 year old's pick. Super cute, functional, and seemingly durable. I like the different pockets to separate lunch, school work, water bottle, etc. My hope is that he can use this for at least 2 or 3 years.

I purchased this for my 5 yr old and it's great! I love the sporty look. Plenty of room for all his gear and snack bag. The 2 mesh side pockets for water is a great feature, Very durable and I like the design:) It will be great for Kindergarten next year and beyond:)

We received our backpack earlier than expected it was originally back ordered. Very excited about it fits many many things that was requested by the teacher to bring in and very sturdy and extremely vibrant.
