This has lost of pockets and can fit a laptop and multiple books. Has side pockets for water bottles. It is very strong.

This backpack turned out to be everything we were looking for. It has sturdy construction and ample room for my son who loves to carry everything with him from class to class. This literally is a portable locker and a comfortable one at that. The front straps are good for keeping good posture and the back straps keep the backpack on the back and not slumping off the shoulders.

I searched and searched for a large backpack for my son for high school. He is very tough on Bags and none have lasted him more than 2 years. This one has rave reviews and the backing of an LLBean brand so I bit them bullet on The price and splurged. He is very happy. It has met our demands every step of the way so far. Time will tell How it holds up- but so far so good.

Perfect for a middle schooler who leaves nothing in her locker!

Finally, something that fits my son's school items, sports clothes, and lunch! It's heavy but way more comfortable than the other backpacks we have tried.

A well made, strong backpack with lots of inside space and several big compartments. The best features are the padded computer area in the back and the strong shoulder straps. My high schooler has almost 40 lbs. of books to carry to/from school each day - this is the perfect backpack for that.

Great pack - super capacity. My 7th grader can fit ALL of her stuff in here easily. Only wish is that side pockets didn't have any mesh.

My son started high school this year and needed an upgrade from the LL Bean backpack we got him in kindergarten. The old one is still in excellent condition so I knew there was no denying the high quality of LL Bean backpacks. No question we would be buying another one. This backpack is very well constructed and strong. Zippers are smooth. It holds a whole high school locker plus lunch and seems like it will last a few years or more. Very pleased.

Bought this for my granddaughter who took it off to Trinity College Dublin for her Junior year. She expressly asked for this model and loves it.

I was skeptical at first about the purchase due to many unhappy buyers about this school backpack. I was very happy making the Deluxe backpack purchase last year. It is still in perfect condition, but I wanted a larger backpack. So far, I'm very happy with my purchase of the CCP42L backpack. It's very spacious and sturdy for my son's needs. I wonder if LL Bean fixed the past issues. I have no problems with it at all. I'm grateful for the generous 1 year warranty which for me, is a plus and tells me LLBean stands by their products.

I was looking for a new backpack with some color and great storage. This backpack has checked all the boxes! It's so roomy and has little compartments to help you keep your bag organized. I can't wait to use this every day for my work commute. Highly recommend.

Exactly as described, except that it can easily hold a 16" laptop. My son loves the side straps which prevents the inevitable sag once the backpack is loaded for school. So much space! Well made. Ordered a second for my daughter.

Love the backpack, but wasn't given the option to add monogram at any point during checkout.
