This bag holds everything I need for school and work. It's well built and I can't imagine I'll need another anytime soon. Love it.

Large backpack perfect to fit school work activity clothes and snacks water bottles

Using this book bag as a college bag has been a lifesaver!! SUPER roomy and durable. Have always used LLBean book bags and they've never let me down. Easy 5 stars.

This was purchased as a replacement for the city pack (discontinued) love this pack as much as I did the city pack. Fits everything I need for a packed day on campus.

I ordered this backpack for my nephew who went away to college this fall. So far, so good: he likes the pack and it gets the job done. He's a big guy too and he has to walk a lot around town/campus so getting something sturdy and comfortable was key. Note: due to the particular style of construction, LL Bean does NOT offer the embroidered monogramming for this bag. My nephew did not care about that but if monogramming is an important feature for you then you will want to buy a different pack.

My 14 year old is entering high school and this is just what he needs to carry all that is required. Computer, gym clothes,soccer uniform, drum sticks and let's not forget the books all fit nicely with room to spare. The best part of this purchase is the smile on his face when he opened the package.

I found LLBean just in time for my youngest to be starting High School. It's been a God send. The quality is amazing and after buying bookbags every year ( most of the time twice a year) for well over 12 I finally found a product that lasts more than 6 months. Wish I had found them sooner! This is my second purchase in 3 years. That's how long they lasted! Plenty of space, holds EVERYTHING, and unbeatable quality in the making. Definitely 2 thumbs up! Thanks LL Bean

This is the PERFECT bag for high schoolers (or college students). My son's high school does not have lockers, so students carry all of their belongings all day. Finding a bag large and sturdy enough for this is a challenge, but this one is PERFECT!

I am a teacher and this backpack can carry all my books, papers and computer! I love it, and the red color is the best.

I bought this backpack for my son who is in high school. He is an athlete and has to bring a lot of stuff to and from school every day. This backpack has enough room for all this stuff and is durable.

I'm a longtime LL Bean bag fan so when I needed a new backpack to carry my laptop and second screen, I was excited (because that meant I needed a new LL Bean backpack)! Thoughtfully designed it's my fave.

My daughter is going into freshman year and doesn't need something that will fit snow pants, but loves the number of compartments. It helps her organize her stuff without it getting lost in the bottom.

Bought this for our son who can be a little hard on things. Really wanted a good backpack that would last and we were not disappointed.

My daughter's high school got rid of lockers! We were looking for a spacious, reliable backpack to help her through the year. This pack is huge!!!! She can fit all 5 texts, 5 folders plus a pouch for a calculator, chrome book, pencils, erasers, and personal items. She literally uses this bag as a walking locker! Shoulder straps are wide enough to be comfortable. The only thing she would wish for is the length to be a bit smaller for her petite size.

my preivious llbean backpack became to small when I started carrying photography equipment. this one does the job. it is spacious and comfortable to walk with and also on flights.

Bought mostly for daily work and occasionally to use at the gym. Pockets are huge. Lots of room for storage and the 3 large pockets help keep everything organized. I can easily fit all of my things for work ( laptop, files, notebooks, etc) along with clothes for the gym with the plenty of room to spare. Backpack seems well made. Straps have lots of cushion to help with a heavy load. Extremely happy with my purchase.

This pack is a tank. Or more specifically, could carry a tank. There is more than enough room for computers, books, papers, spare clothing, you name it. It has tall compartments which allow for a 15" computer to travel with ease. And ti manages to hold all of this securely and without giving in to the weight. The only nag I have, and this is minor, I would love to have the straps be a bit more clingy so that they do not droop off the shoulders. Tightening the straps helps but not entirely. When weighed against the utility of this pack though, this is a minor annoyance and may not even affect some users. I would highly recommend this pack for anyone carrying more than one or two book or computers.

Wonderful backpack great quality glad I got it

Tons of room and very comfortable to wear. Adjustable and fits my laptop along with everything else I need to haul around. Great backpack and well made - my last LL Bean backpack lasted for 8 years.

I find this new backpack very interesting. I used to purchase the Turbo Transit backpack which, IMO, had a few issues. One, it did not have side bottle holders, Two, all the Turbo backpacks had black lining inside, hence making them a big dark hole to find objects. And three, the Turbo Transit did not have side pulling clips to center the load. The backpack used to droop and pull back with any load at all. I did love the bottom holder for clothing and wet items. Enter this backpack. Just as large, but all problems solved listed above! Wow!! I feel LLBean listened to my comments! Some of the colors have bright interiors including the black bag, which is blue inside. How nice is that? It now has side stabilizing straps, and water bottle holders. The bottom storage is missing, but this is roomy enough to stuff anything inside, so I am fine by that loss. Great backpack and thank you for the design improvements LLBean and listening to your customer base!

This is an excellent quality backpack with lots and lots of room! Nicely padded straps and back for comfort. Very happy with this purchase.

This backpack is extremely large, which is why I bought it, yet not overly cumbersome. I enjoy that the laptop sleeve that is essentially its own pocket and separate from other items in my pack. The sleeve accommodates my Pixel book Go in its own protective sleeve perfectly. The large main middle pocket will carry almost anything, while I use the large front pocket to carry books, folders, and similar items I need for work. The front stuff pocket is one of my favorite features because I can stuff my rain jacket inside for use if needed and without soaking my other items with rain water. The weight is distributed well and comfortable to wear to and from work, even when carrying a larger load. My 24 oz water bottle fits well and secure in either one of the side pockets. There are many colors to choose from and the contrasting blue interior is pretty sharp as well. If you are in the market for a larger than normal backpack, this pack is certainly a contender.
