They feel great! This is my second pair of 990s and these feel the same as my last pair that I bought in Dec. 2021. It's very high quality. I love that they are made in the USA, not China!

Fit very well, love the small reflectors, color is great. I have a difficult time getting shoes that fit but these are good and have ties so that I can loosen them and get my foot in even though I have a very high arch!

I love this shoe style. About 6 months ago, I was fit to a pair of NB Fresh Foam X1080w13. I wasn't able to adapt to those shoes. The thick soles threw me off balance and the toes (medium width) were too narrow to accommodate my troublesome toes. The New Balance 990v6 is perfect for my feet, and I am glad that I finally ordered myself a new pair.

Great fit with shoe construction consistent with my normal size. Love that they are made in USA. Encourage Beans to offer more products made in USA. Comfortable for walking.

Bought these because I am on my feet all day as a veterinarian. Sometimes up to 12 hours a day. They are extremely supportive and probably the best shoes I’ve ever owned from a support/comfort standpoint. Took away a few style points because my kids call these my “dad shoes” and my “1900’s shoes.”

Life changing shoes! 990-V6 are arguably the best shows made for problem flat feet and issues that come with it. They have changed my life! Really that good!!

Perhaps order a half size larger. Perhaps order a half size up. I usually wear a 7.5, but my toes touched in this shoe. I exchanged for an 8, and am very happy.

Another great shoe: They're comfortable and supportive but I still wish they were making the 990V5. Time will tell if my feet are really happy with this model in the long run.

Foot problems: Roomy toe box and great stability in the ankle area. If you need good support throughout your foot this is the athletic shoe to get. Great for walking.

I was worried the current version of this shoe wouldn't work for me based on other reviews. However, I would say it feels pretty much the same as my old 990v5 pair. I would agree that the tongue comes up higher, but it doesn't bother me. Relieved that for me this is still a shoe make and model I can rely on for my purposes (light jogging).

My go-to: These are seemingly the only walking shoes I can wear, the 990 model. The fit is comfortable, the toe box is deep (which I need) and the sizing is reliable. I only wish these came in solid white and solid black.

Excellent support: I have had multiple operations on both feet and need orthotics at all times. Excellent support. Wish you made a dressier type shoe.
