Love the look of the 990v6. The fit was weird though almost like a man's shoe. Didn't work for me.

I've been wearing New Balance 860 for years and now they don't make them. Have ordered and returned at least 4 other pairs. Ugh

I’m not overly particular about shoes I buy solely for the style. I loved the way these look. Unfortunately, I was not able to justify liking the style over how incredibly UNCOMFORTABLE these are. I’m honestly baffled New Balance is okay with selling such a product. AND for the price these shoes are! The measurements are way off, starting with the front of the shoe. Way too narrow. I have a very small narrow foot, and the top part of the shoe was digging into the top of my foot every step I took, despite loosening the laces to relieve some of the pressure. The ankle portion is way too wide, offering zero support, as well as allowing my heel to slightly slip from the back of the shoe often. I really wanted to love these shoes and validate spending the money. Do yourself a favor and DO NOT BUY THESE. Seriously, coming from someone who only wanted them for the style, these are horrible in the comfort department. I’ve wore plenty of uncomfortable shoes for the aesthetic. These take the cake.

Surprisingly stiff and not enough forefoot cushion for me. I need a cloud, a pillow. Had heard these were great. Not for me tho. Alas.

I thought I’d like to try the New Balance shoes; but for the price they were just uncomfortable and offered no support or wider sole.

It was too heavy for a running shoe. It ran big.

The fit and size was off and rubbed the edge of my ankles on both sides. These shoes will not fit me.

This shoe without the insole has zero cushioning and is over priced. Obviously the shoe is made by SAS. Hoka sells a much better product all things considered.

I've worn New Balance 990s for many years in the same size, but this is not the same shoe. This is cut larger. It's labeled as a Woman's 6-1/2 but might be intended for a man's foot? A big disappointment because I've tried for years to find a replacement.

I'm so disappointed in these sneakers. I've been getting the same sneaker (newer models), same size and width, every year for the past 4 or 5 years. The newest model in the size I get is too big. The company changed the sizing. I ordered the same sneaker in the same size from Amazon just to see if there was a discrepancy, and there's not. The sneaker I got from Amazon was also too big.

I bought this same sneaker from a shoe store in a difference color. I wanted the black but the shoe store did not have it which is why I ordered it from Zappos. The sneaker from the shoe store fit great but the one from zappos was too large even though it was the same size as I purchased from the shoe store. Don't know why it was larger unless it was a knock-off.

I have worn a variation of the New Balance 990 for over 20 years because I have narrow feet and I overpronate. This shoe was a game changer for me because it provided the stability my feet needed on a daily basis. I am very disappointed with this version. The style of the shoe is great, as it always has been, but the overall feel and support of the shoe is lacking.

I waited a long time for these to be in stock, so I'm disappointed to have to return them. The fit was very odd: lifted in my heel when I walked, the toe felt too long, as did the tongue. They're going back (sadly).

I really wanted to love these sneaker because I love how they look and feel. They were exactly what I was looking for in appearances but... they squeak. At least the pairs that I tried. And it's not the sock rubbing up against the shoe or air pocket type of squeaking. It's an internal squeak. If you gently press the inner part of the shoe you will hear it squeak and unfortunately, for $200 I do not want my sneakers to be squeaking when I'm walking. So disappointed because I loved these shoes and I've purchased New Balance for years and they never disappoint but this time they did.

They sent me USED shoes! I didn't try them on.
