I wore out an earlier version of this shoe. So I returned for round two. Great fit and support. I don't run but I do a lot of walking and the wide toe area allows my toes some space. I hope these last five years like their predecessor did.

Just Comfort: Love the style and comfort. Im on my feet at a library. I can easily walk 6000 steps a shift. No more aching feet or back!

Second pair!! Quality shoe, this is my second pair. I think first pair was wide and this pair I got standard or narrow but otherwise amazing, you can dress up or down. So comfortable!!!!

Great support for women on the go: Great support if you are a worker that stands on their feet all day long as I do you have the greatest support in these sneakers. I never have achy feet when I get home.

I LOVE these shoes. I exercise by walking 3-4 miles on the treadmillwhich can be tough on your feet, especially if you have a bunion (which I do)! These shoes have alleviated 90% of my foot pain. BUY THEM! They're worth the extra dough!!

I have bought so many pairs of shoes ! Finally the right fit! I couldn’t decide on a color so I bought 3 colors! I have arthritis, plantar fasciitis diabetic feet, I thought Brooks were my brand , then I tried Hoka , a big No.

For over 30 years I have had the best experience with New Balance. Have tried others but nothing is as comfortable as NB.
I'd also recommend:
Taryn Rose for a dress shoe, but that brand has disappeared. SAS for their comfortable sandels

Ordered W, usually wear M width, shoe is a bit narrower than the previous model. Very comfortable walking shoe, room to add my personal orthotics. I have pretty bad plantar fasciitis happy with my purchase

Great Shoes - Perfect Fix and Excellent Insole: These 990v6 are a great shoe. Comfortable with good insole. Great support when walking with minimal friction on foot bed. These are women's sized and fit true to size. Many of the unisex styles do not fit properly and most times are too wide.

I love the NB 990's. Have been wearing them for about 20-25 years. Comfortable out of the box, even with my wonky feet. Normally buy 2-3 pair a year, using old ones for yard work.
