Fit great perfect width

Buying shoes is one of the things I hate the most because they almost never fit me well due to special needs I have. These were recommended to me, and I am glad I got them. My problematic back and legs are grateful.

Worn this shoe for decades and are great for me.

Been wearing 990's for years and they never dissapoint.

The shoes are perfect

The size is a half size bigger so go a half size smaller. I am a size 10 4E instead I went with a size 9.5 4E. Other than that the shoe is very comfortable.

I used to wear New Balance but tried Sketchers for a few years, now I'm back to New Balance. I definitely like the look and comfort of this shoe, my only issue may be the width but time will tell. I retired in Arizona after 40+ years of wearing Red Wing work boots so I was happy to just wear sandals most of the time, unfortunately this caused my foot to spread out a bit so I went to the 2E width. The shoe may be true to size but it's hard to tell due to the "sandal foot". Otherwise this is a great shoe. (On a side note, I did notice that the extra set of gray laces didn't come in the pair I kept, not a deal breaker)

The NB 990 v6 runs slightly larger than the other brands I wear (La Sportiva and Asics). I recommend buying a half size smaller than you usually wear. Overall it's a great shoe. It's stable and cushioned with moderate arch support, and looks darn good, too. The shoe is super comfortable -- I'm probably going to buy another pair soon. I get the feeling I'll be reordering these shoes regularly. It's one of the best I've ever worn.
