This shoe fit great! It's light and provides adequate support.

I normally take Mens 8 1/2 N but the New Balance 990v6 9 B works perfectly because the NB 8 1/2 B is a bit short. I stay with New Balance and Zappos because I like the brand and customer service.

True to size and width

fit and size are great. I've bought the 993s and the replacement model 990s for years. The last fits my feet exactly. I do need 3rd party arch supports but find the Dr. Scholl's along with these 990s are squeaky when I walk. Like the Cheers episode when Cliff get cheap shoes for his friends and they begin squeaking.

Great fit, all day comfort.

I was worried after reading a lot of the reviews that the v6 had changed. It has definitely changed. It laces like a totally different show, and if you have high arches like me, there's a lot more tongue showing in the shoe when they are laced up as compared to the v5. But it still feels great. Very happy with the v6.

True to size width was perfect for hubbies wide feet!

I've been wearing this model by New Balance for years now and will never change. They fit perfectly right out of the box and give me the arch support I need (I have a narrow foot and wear a B width, which makes finding the right size challenging. Not exactly inexpensive, but certainly worth the extra money!

The shoes are very comfortable and supportive, and are true to size and width. They have the look and feel of a classic cross trainer.

Best made running/walking shoe I've had....great material, expensive but really well worth the price.

This pair of New Balance is just the latest shoes I have purchased from them over the past 35 years. As always I am fully happy with this purchase. The shoes are based on an SL-2 last which means, for me, a comfortable wide toe area. I wear a size 13 4E shoe and this pair gives me firm support, a comfortable wide toe and foot area, and room for my orthotic arch supports. I find them comfortable for both walking and light jogging. I highly recommend these shoes.
