Great shoes, good fit

The shoes fit great after I sized down from my original order. So they do run large, which isn’t a problem. I find these to be more comfortable than the 1080s that I use to walk and hike.

New Balance always seems to fit consistently well

Got these for my dad who is physical therapy for plantar fasciitis and bone spurs on his heels. He LOVES them: immediate relief, comfort and a perfect fit. He wears 11 D and that's what I ordered. He loves that they are made in the USA. I have had two pairs of the version for women for several years and love mine too.

Since my left foot is larger than my right foot I need xwide shoes. I always look for 5x or 6x wide shoes. These fit the bill. Great fit.

These are my favorite shoes by far and love the look, the comfort is awesome. They run a half size big, so got these in 10 and not 101/2, they fit perfect and still a little extra room, which felt perfect. Highly recommend! Hope more color options are in the future for the 990 model

I work at a hospital and if you we are walking standing all day on our feet. I swear by the 990 v5 model but now the 990 v6 are now available and highly recommended to anyone that needs a shoe with a lot of support and comfort . I have wide feet and love how they come in different widths. I give this shoe a 5 star rating and bought a second pair waiting in my closet as we speak. They cost a lot but the comfort is worth it to me.

I was skeptical since a lot of the reviews for the V6 weren’t as good as the V5, but… NEW BALANCE never disappoints! These sneakers are just as fabulous as always and my dad can’t thank me enough for always having a new pair ready for him on hand when his old ones wear out. He has been wearing these sneakers for at least 5 years and is probably on his 7th or 8th pair by now. I have been wearing the women’s version for even longer and they might be more expensive than other sneakers but the quality in the 990’s can’t be beat!

Ordered for my husband, he loves them. They fit perfectly.

It is a great fit! My go to! I order this sneaker every time the old one wears out I replace it with a new pair. And I can get an orthotic in it.

There really is no alternative. I've been wearing versions of this shoe for the last 30 years. It is the gold standard and Made in the USA to boot. Thank you New Balance.

Fit great perfect width

Buying shoes is one of the things I hate the most because they almost never fit me well due to special needs I have. These were recommended to me, and I am glad I got them. My problematic back and legs are grateful.
