I've been wearing 990's since v2. This is the first pair that actually hurt me. After a week of breaking them in, I ended up with significant ankle pain; I think this was caused by the width being narrower than the v5s *and* the new lacing pattern, which encouraged lacing them too tight. I'm returning them, though I may exchange for the next width up, just so I don't have to go through the hassle of changing and trying lots of brands.

Seems a little narrower than in the past. I’ve worn this shoe for years and ordered the same size, but it seems a little tighter than my others. Thought maybe they would loosen up, but it’s been a week and feels the same. May need a 4E width if I order again. Also, I don’t like the new design with the white sides. I need black shoes for work and they used to be all black or dark gray, but now it’s white on the sides and I don’t like them as much. After wearing for 2 days, the white parts have black marks all over them and look terrible, whereas the dark grey looked good for longer. Hope they change them back next update.

I thought these would be unbelievably comfortable. the right one was 'fine' not crazy comfortable but not uncomfortable either. the left one felt like there was something digging into my arch. I just couldn't deal with it and for the price of these it wasn't worth it.

The top of the shoe is too high, it digs into the front of your leg when walking. Returning shoe.

I bought some 990 series shoes in 2017, and they fit well. This current pair, I feel like they were perhaps built on a different last. They are not nearly 'deep' enough for my foot. The width (4E) feels narrower than my last pair. I can not even lace them properly because they do not fit my foot.

In comparison of the original 990 I ordered 4 years ago, the toe felt to be too snug and the shoe just does not fit my foot.

I've been a big fan of the 990v5 sneakers for several years, but the new v6 is uncomfortable and seems cheaply made. The tongue is much narrower and pushed down on my foot, which became painful after about 20 min of walking. Returned.

Not good for running

Loved the shoes but for $221 the sole wore out at 1 year after I only wore them for light walking the best customer service would do is a 20% discount on next purchase probably will never buy again

Not enough cushion! Prefer Hoka or Brooks.

Everything ok as far as fit, but left shoe squeaks when walking on floor.

The size was right the fit too tight. The reason was I was sent the wrong item.

I have had many pairs of version 3-5 and all were great. Version 6 do not feel good. Tongue is smaller. Length does not match size. Do not feel good all. I would return if I had not thrown out the box. May have just lost me as a customer. Don’t buy. Look for version 5.

Terrible. The shape of this shoe is all wrong. It is too long and narrow and the arch is way too low. Maybe OK for someone with flat feet. But doesn't work for someone with high arches. I would return them, but I have already run in them, thinking they might break in. But they still feel terrible after 50 miles.

New v6 design feels cheap and does not fit nearly as well as v5. Too much pressure at the top of the shoe caused soreness after wearing them for a short while. That never happened with the older design.

The sizing of these shoes makes no sense whatsoever. The number on the box has nothing to do with the actual size of the shoe. I have worn an 11 1/2 MED shoe for the last thirty years. I started with an 11 1/2 MED, went down to an 11, and then tried a 10 1/2. The 10 1/2 was too small--just barely--and the others were absurdly large. I give up. Also, cheep laces and no arch support.

This shoe should not belong to the 990 line, there is no arch support and they have reduced the cushion in the front of the shoe. I have worn 990's for many years and purchase them at least two times a year. This shoe is not an upgrade over the previous 990, instead it's a downgrade. I will be purchasing the 990v4 instead.

I've been wearing the USA Made 900 series in size 10.5 for almost 3 decades. This model is the worst. Shoes were 1/2 size larger and more narrow than my 993. Also, the materials used do not feel as lux as previous models (outer sole, laces). The construction of the heel and upper doesn't feel as solid as previous models.
