Review for Zappos VIP Points(What's this?)
This belt looks beautiful, but it is terrible! It's stiff, and takes all my strength to push the end through the buckle. I am returning it.

I bought this belt back in October and used it everyday while backpacking ~60mi, and I did not have a single complaint. The belt is a little tough to get through the initial buckle, that is a fair criticism, but it never loosens once its on and it super easy to tighten once it is through. That being said, it is supposed to be a heavy duty belt, and I am more than happy to spend ~6 seconds forcing it through the buckle to have a belt that doesnt loosen and wears great for the rest of the day. I even kept a relatively heavy knife on it, and never once was it pulled loose while wearing. It has pretty much become my daily driver as long as I am not wearing a tucked in shirt, and I even use it to hold up my ski pants. For everyone complaining about how 'hard it is to get on', you need to reevaluate what you're really wanting from a heavy duty, indestructible belt.

I have the 38 version that fits to size. The 32 S,M and large are not sized even close to the size chart and the size on the product label.
Both are a good quality product.

Disappointed.
The prior version of this belt was better. It was wider with sturdier buckle. That worked better, for comfort and ease of use. This belt feels dinky in comparison.

I purchased this product but the end of the belt is too large to fit through the belt buckle without pushing it incredibly hard. This makes it impossible to tighten the belt around my waist and difficult to undo. Within several days of use, a tear started to develop on the plastic at the end of the belt.

I am a size 34, the medium belt is way too long. And I could not get the end of the belt through the belt buckle. So I had to cut it off. It is a real shame that a company like Arc'teryx cannot Quality control. Last year I bought 2 1/4 zip cardigans and they were way too small and the bottom kept rolling up. I can't even wear them. Arc'teryx used to be my favorite brand even though it was more expensive it was worth it to me because of the quality. That belt just ended our relationship.

I own this belt a lighter color in the wider version - I bought it in black in the thinner version now. But the clip is so small - it's difficult to impossible to slide the end into the clip. I have to imagine that this a 'one off' production and not all are like this in the thinner version

Given how great every single product is, this belt is well below-par. Indestructible for sure, but it doesn't hit the mark for ease of use. It's a belt, it should take a matter of seconds to secure it and unsecure. The plastic cap on the end barely fits through the buckle, so it's a small battle to put it on, and nearly impossible to adjust tightness to fit your waist without holding the entire buckle down against your body. It requires far more dexterity and concentration than any other belt I've ever used. For such a great brand with such a great reputation for products, very disappointed such a simple item such as a belt misses the mark entirely.

Let's start off by saying I'm a lover of all things Arc'teryx; I have an Alpha SV, Proton LT, Atom LT, Alpha AR, Gamma LT pant, and Sabre pantall these pieces are superb, because they fit perfectly, look great, and perform flawlessly. This belt not so much. The look is good, and it's indestructible, but it's almost impossible to put on or take off (likewise for tightening it). Also, the sizing is insanea small is tiny, a medium is immense, and a large is like a jump-role. It's a belt, it should hold up pants and be easy on-and-off.

Bought this belt back in 2015.
You have a lot to look at and learn from your mistakes. I think you're not listening to customers who have been around for quite sometime.
This belt is not the same and you need to go back to drawing board. You are going downhill on your products. Think about it.

I've had this around 3 years now and I still use it pretty much every day. Showing some slight signs of wear where I have had it on the same fit every time but that is to be expected. I have no doubt it will last years to come.

Was looking for a belt that was a low-profile option for comfort while sitting.
This belt fit that need perfectly!
I wear a 38-40 (or XL) in most pants and typically have to order larger sizes. The Medium fits me fine with enough left over to make it through the first belt loop perfectly.
I understand the other reviews saying that feeding the belt through the buckle is a little trickier than it probably needs to be, but it's totally manageable.
I do wish it was easier to pull the end to tighten. As is, I have to pull the opposite side through the buckle and then pull the end to tighten the belt, but it's only a minor inconvenience.
The belt holds well and is very comfortable to wear!

Bought the black one a few months back. Wear it every single day. My favorite belt I've ever had. Looks very sharp and cool. Amazing quality. Don't listen to the haters. Just check your sizing they run a little big. Will be buying more and giving away other belts.

This is now the fifth of these belts I have bought. Three for me and now a total of two for my wife. The colors available are good, the look is great, and even my oldest one (5+ years) still looks brand new. Next up, a belt for each of our kids.

Normally a small. Fits like I would expect a small to fit! Maybe the sizing issues have been resolved?

I bought 2 of these belts one for myself and one for my girlfriend after she started stealing mine aha. She loves them on her cargo pants that have bigger loops and some of her hiking shorts. I used mine for a work belt as I used to work outdoors and never had a problem with it letting me down.

Great build quality, Medium is perfect for my 32" waist. Putting the belt on and undoing it is not that easy, definitely more work than a regular leather belt.

You get what you pay for. The belt holds up pants very well and has good colors. Fits all belt loops on every pair of pants I have. It does not slip. It's also stylish if you're into that kind of thing.
I found that the belt takes a little breaking in. It takes a few extra seconds to fasten the buckle because the end is slightly large than the hole it goes in.

I bought this belt without reading any reviews. It was a struggle at first to even thread the belt end through the buckle. Tightening it was remarkably difficult. I decided to see if it would break in and it has. I've also found a technique for taking up the slack. As far as sizing, the Small is generous for my 30" waist. 5+ inches of length past the buckle.
