Review for Zappos VIP Points(What's this?)
My waist is 28" so a small is typically fine, as this belt has no size chart I tried looking up the brand and the only info I found suggested a small could go up to 40" so I took a gamble hoping it would be some where in between. I can put the tip of the belt through the buckle but only barely and it's a struggle. Quality seems nice and I do love the color.

This belt ticks the boxes for an outdoor web belt. It's hard to find a no-stretch belt and this one fits the bill, and the buckle is low-profile enough to wear under a hip belt strap, with rounded edges to prevent digging in. The belt is stiff, and that works with the simple buckle to provide a firm grip. It's not super-easily adjustable, but seems to hold it's place very well through limited testing. The sizing was appropriate; they seem to have fixed any previous sizing issues I've read about.

I own this belt in two colour and use it for around town. Its a belt that requites a bit of breaking in as the first times passing the tip of the belt through the buckle requires effort.

It's a good sturdy belt. Was in store to get one and all the belts labelled small were about the same length as the medium belts, although all the belt lengths varied by an inch or two even though they are labelled the same size. When you see poor quality control like this on a simple belt length, it makes you doubt the quality of their other more expensive products. Ended up buying the shortest belt there but for my 32" waist, the small belt is supper long - about 7 or 8 inches extra inches hanging loose.

Plastic tongue can be difficult to get through the buckle. Difficulty not to have the belt loosen slightly as you're fastening it.
Older versions also had much nicer looking colored buckles which I thought really set this product apart.

The Belt in and of itself is great. In fact, I also own a black version of the wider width version. However, there is a significant difference between the length at each size increment. At least when it comes to the 32mm wide version of this belt.
Personally, the size Small is too small for me, and the size Medium is too long. So, if you happen to fall in the size range, this is great. But if you don't, you'll be left wanting.

Size is true. Fit is fine. Yes, the buckle is difficult to work because the end that slips through the buckle is a bit too large. The nylon mess belt is much thinner than the mess on an older Arc'teryx belt I have used for years and still looks and works like new. If the buckle were made a little larger, the belt would deserve 4 or 5 stars.

The buckle is very difficult to tighten, too much friction. Does hold my pants up though, probably strong enough to rappel on...
