Had other pair but material inside of back of heal wore out way too fast but NB stood behind this defect.

Had 3 of these shoes in a row. The first pair retired at 1400km, second and third at 1000km. I can say these shoes last forever. After 1000, they lose the incredibly long-lasting cushion, but the sole is still fine. Other things I like: light. they can be used for workouts if required; Flexible. Allows your foot to bend naturally. Soft. I don't like hard volume shoes. These are soft yet stay soft for 1000km; Stable, just don't run on the track; Improved design. The first one I had wore through in the heel, but the newest ones are fine; Other small things like are easily dryable, breathable, don't get too heavy in the rain, and no excess weight in the heel. I'd say the only improvement would be a little more foam, that way, they're even more comfortable over 700km.

Best sneakers I've ever owned. I typically wear a 14 and some sneakers are too narrow and just uncomfortable. I purchased a pair of 1080v12 in regular width and wide. Both are VERY comfortable and provide a ton of support. I walked about 60 miles, 7 consecutive days (Disney) and these sneakers made it tolerable for me (neck and back issues). Highly recommend!

This is my 7th pair of the Fresh Foam 1080 going back to 2018. I wear these for exercise and all around use. They cost a little bit more than something you would get off the shelf at a sporting goods store but they definitely last longer.

I read comments about how this model has changed over the years but they still feel comfortable to me.

I am absolutely thrilled with my recent purchase of New Balance shoes. Not only are they perfect for my treadmill runs, but the added ability to select my own width was a game-changer. These shoes are incredibly comfortable and the fit is spot on. I have already recommended them to several friends and will continue to do so. If you're in the market for a top-notch running shoe, these are the ones to get. Five stars is not enough - these shoes deserve a six-star rating!

Since I got into running more seriously over the last 2 years - several half marathons (1:42 PB) and my first marathon (3:52) - I've been wearing mainly Ghosts and Pegasus for my easy and tempo runs. I thought shoes couldn't get more comfortable than Ghosts. I was and still am (3 months later) blown away by how comfortable these shoes are. I even tried the new Glycerine and felt that they were firmer than the Ghosts. These 1080s are so comfortable in the upper (feels like you're wearing socks) and so cushioned, yet still somewhat responsive, in the midsole. By far the best everyday running shoe I've tried to date.

The sizing is perfect...I bought them one size too big in case my feet swelling during the marathon and it did not go well. BUT the shoes themselves were awesome.

I've been using these shoes now for about 6 months. I run 5 times a week any where from 2 to 3.5 miles each run. They make a considerable diffrence from other shoes that I've ran with. The cushion, comfort, and fit are really good. They do run a little big in the toe box area. I normally where a 12 probably could have ordered an 11.5. I'm 40 and after longer runs my legs, hips, and knees are sore but not my feet.

I'm a senior citizer and after trying different brand I found New Balance to be the most confortable sneaker to walk and exercise.

This shoe is very awesome I use it for work and I walk a lot no problems fits to size and very comfortable. I would % recommend this shoe.

In the medical field and on my feet all day. Got a pair last year and loved them so much, I got another this year. They keep my feet from becoming too tired after walking all day. Size is right on and the color is perfect.

I own quite a few pairs of new balance but this pair is by far the best shoe of any kind I've owned, the comfort alone is mind blowing.. it literally feels like my feet are waking on pillows..

Very cushioned shoe that helps with heel pain. These are perfect as work shoes for standing for hours.

I haven't quite put it to the walking, running, exercise test because these look so nice and feel so good that I use them to go to sporting events where I get to watch. So far so good though.
