Was skeptical about paying so much for these shoes. Im very picky as I have a high arch, and am on my feet for over 12hrs a day.. Absolutely loved them. Feels like you're floating on clouds. Great cushioning.

While this is a comfortable shoe the back side is much more snug than the previous V11. If they went back to the thinner support for the back of the shoe it would be better. It is still a comfortable shoe on the sole and toes though. I were these for work which entails standing and moving non-stop for 8 to 10 hours a day. My feet can definitely tell the difference between these shoes and any other type. The extra snug isn't needed though in my opinion and the V11 was definitely a lighter feel for snug.

Ordered a pair 11.5Xwide and they're still snug across forefoot but with thinner socks not so noticeable. So far this is the only winner I've found for wide feet.

Much more comfortable than shoes I've had in the past. Great asset to my bionic knee.

My feet love these shoes. I struggle with plantar fasciitis and heel spurs and these shoes offer relief from the pain caused by these issues. I can wear these shoes for at least 8 hours with little discomfort.

I used the shoes for running and they're very comfortable

This is the 6th version of 1080s I have run in, and I really like the new heel counter. Feels much better and stable.

Most comfortable running shoes that I've ever purchased. Only wish I purchased when they were on sale.

I've got a little over 50 miles under feet, and its a great ride. Overall great daily trainer that can handle your small to middle distant runs with maximum comfort. Very breathable, responsive shoe where the foam-x tech is really doing the trick. Only slight critic would be durability if you are looking to take the shoe several hundred miles, as the outsole is already braking down slightly (not a huge deal though). Lastly, upper is very breathable but the downside to that for some runners is that the lockdown isn't really there on the foot. If you are an experienced runner and don't mind your foot moving in the mesh upper, then disregard. Overall, great shoe!!

Although I've done my share of running, (5K, 10k, Marathons) I don't run much anymore. I was looking to a shoe to handle a fair amount of walking, specifically a Disney vacation where we were averaging about 28,000 steps/day. I was pleasantly surprised with the FreshFoam X 1080v12's! They more than held up and kept my feet and body comfortable every day, all day long. I wish I had these when I was running marathons! Well done, NB!

I've been wearing size 15 shoes for 24 years, never had a shoe that far off. Had to return them.

I love the 1080. This version change between v11 and v12 has drawbacks. Adding the padded collar around the ankle is a good idea to add some ankle stability, but so far it seems like added weight that is unnecessary. It also seems like they changed the fabric on the upper. The fabric seems thicker now where it was an ideal texture/thickness on the v11. This also adds weight to the shoe. When it's time for my next purchase I may revert back to the v11 for these reasons. However, I still have many miles left on these 12s and maybe my opinion will change.

I've been using NB for over 40 years, and have ordered and worn 1080s and their predecessors for decades. This shoe, supposedly a 10 4E really isn't and is too narrow and tight., and i had to return it. I just bought other shoes in 10 4E so I know my feet haven't changed. Buh!

Most comfortable shoe I have ever worn! No lie. I have a wide foot and its always hard finding comfortable shoes wide enough for my foot and that look great... this shoe has it all (I bought the bright green).

Great Shoe out the box!!!!! Was able to wear without the need to break them in. THese are truely some of my favorite shoes. Note that they do run a little large.

I've had some foot problems and I need a good everyday sneaker for the gym and just around the house. These fit the bill. Very comfortable and lightweight.

Coming from the earlier model 1080v11 these are comfortable like slippers. I absolutely had to get x-wide before these, took a chance and got wide, they fit just fine, very comfortable with a lot of space for my big toes. :)

These are by far the best running show I have had in years. I have already put close to 100 miles in them and still feel great. They do run a bit big so ordering a half size down was perfect!
