On multiple runs, the insole of one shoe would slide backwards and start working its way up the back of the shoe Also, the toe box could be wider.

These shoes are probably for people who are not at all overweight, have zero issues with joints or pronation, and don't require arch support. When I walk in these shoes, they are very squishy, and don't support my feet, ankles, or knees. I would probably need expensive orthotics to wear these shoes comfortably. This is my first pair of this brand of shoe, and I can't say I'm very impressed. That all being said, I felt like they are true to size, and I really like the drawstring laces.

I bought these in three different colors worried, as always, because Salomon's women's size are so erratic. These were no different. The lilac I got in my normal US 8.5 felt a full size too big. Even with thick wool socks, my feet were sliding around. But, in green they only felt pretty good for thick sock shoes (same 8.5). I have narrow feet and a very high arch. So, perhaps the experience would be different for someone with wider feet. Of the style I have that I can wear, I love them. They are very comfy and good looking. They have a good bite. We are always on mixed trail, sometimes with some asphalt thrown in. They don't feel slippy on my treadmill, as a lot of trail runners do for me. I love the lacing because normal laces will not stay tied for me, but these do work themselves a little loose. Probably because of my narrow feet, I always end up with a big loop of lace that can get caught.

Pro: The cushion seems good after a whole day of wear (walking). Feels wide enough for my feet. Cons: The upper does not keep the elements out. You will feel the outside temperature right away. This might be a better summer shoe? Would have preferred some water resistance on top, especially toe area. They are not slip resistant at all, which I really needed. The color is not as neutral or nice in person. Would prefer a neutral color shoe lace option. I only walked in these so the heel felt deep/ off to me. Would return them if I could. Would return them if I could. Also, I sized down half a size as per the reviews and they fit correctly.

I bought these on the end of September and they are great on the trail and have excellent grip. Every time I wear them sadly the arch of my foot aches as I'm running. I just don't think they have enough support for me

I wear a true size 5 shoe and struggle to find adult trail running shoes. I've worn the X-Mission 3s for years (they fit!) and was hopeful about these but they were just too big.

I have been waiting for these shoes to come out for months, I purchased the same size as the rest of my salomon shoes, however I noticed during my first run in them that my foot was sliding around in the shoe. The toe box is too big for the shoe, and the fit just doesn't work no matter how tight I pull the laces. Really disappointing that I now have an expensive trail shoe I can't run in.

Bought these 3 months ago. Did short walks in them. I assumed I needed to break them in. I did a 5 miles walk yesterday and my hips are hurting so much today. I normally walk 5 miles most weekends without any pain or issues. These are very hard.

I will start by saying I've had multiple pairs of Salomon shoes over the years and have generally been happy with them and their durability. These did not last tho. After only about 30 miles in them the soles are peeling off. Because of how they're peeling they're no longer comfortable to walk in and trip me up. For the price it's a total bummer. Would have expected to have gotten more than a few uses out of them. I have other shoes that have hundreds of miles and are still great.

I returned the shoes, because they are too wide for me. I have bought Salomon running shoes before and was very happy. I guess I have to get them in a store where I CAN TRY THEM.

I was excited to own my first pair of Salomon shoes as I've been hearing some many good reviews from so many of my friends. I purchased these shoes with the hope it'll be the first one of many more, but unfortunately these are the most uncomfortable shoes that I own, by far! For some reason, every time I wear them my knees start hurting and then I feel a sharp pain on the outer part of my left foot! I'm very very disappointed.

After 2 weeks I had to stop running due to an injury these shoes generated on my outer feet. I am an experienced runner so I was confused by the pain and wanted to know if it was me or the shoe. As a result, I took a couple days off, retried them and the next day the pain was worst and i could barely walk. I took a couple days off after that and tried ON and hoka parallel shoes and no pain at all.

my experience with this brand is that it runs big, and has excellent arch support but this shoe runs very small and has no arch. ankles definitely roll in. but they are very cute and I wished they worked for me. And tongue was very itchy.
