I got it for the retro color. But, it is a very very thin. It's not a quality jacket

The colors are what caught my eye on this vest (marine blue). Unfortunately, that is the best thing about it. As others have said, there's really no puff, just stitched up strips with a miniscule of filler. Bean says that its lightweight trademarked insulation will keep you warm and windproofed. I didn't put it to the test but I cannot imagine that it would. It's really not worth the price.

I loved it when I first got it - so cute, good fit, got lots of compliments. I've owned it about 2 weeks. Splattered some cooking oil so went to wash. Was pleasantly surprised to see that the oil came out (followed label instructions) but after tumble dry low... IT HAS NO PUFF. It's the flattest "puffer" vest I've ever seen. So ridiculous looking now. I tried tumbling it again- nothing. I have another LLbean puffer from 2 decades ago that still has puff after NUMEROUS washes (its my barn vest). For the price of this one, I'm extremely disappointed and would not recommend it to a friend. Tried to add a photo of it next to the decades old still-puffy vest but apparently cell phone photo file size is too large?

Not very puffy at all. Loved the colors but overall was disappointed.

I was so excited to order this to replace my current puffer vest that is on it's last leg. This vest is hardly "puffer." It's EXTREMELY thin. I compared it to plastic bag thickness to a friend. It fit beautifully, but since it wouldn't keep me warm without layers and layers underneath, I decided to return it and keep searching.

Not what I expected at all. The vest is too thin and not offering much warmth. Puffer is the wrong word for it. It looks more like a spring vest that could be used as a wind breaker.

The colors are cute, but to call this a "Puffer Vest" is very misleading. It was completely flat with no sign of any fill whatsoever. It's basically a windbreaker vest. Sent back immediately.

I chose the rosewood/sea green puffer vest as my first LL Bean purchase. I was very disappointed, it was much darker than pictured and way too big. I wear a medium in every other outdoor brand but this fit was very large and boxy. And don't expect simple returns - you have to pay $6.50 even if it's not your fault the sizes aren't as expected. Very disappointed. And won't be buying this brand ever again.

I am a taller female who ordered an XL based on LLBeans online size suggestion link. It was way too big on me!! AND it is also the THINNEST vest that I have ever seen! DEFINITELY NOT PUFFER as advertised. DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME like I did! I returned it and had to pay $6.50 for shipping. Very unsatisfied.

Vest looks super cool, but there is nothing to it. Paper thin.

Size is not true, I ordered xs petite and it's more like a regular small. The material is cheap, this will never keep anyone warm, is cute but definitely NOT worth $100.

Product was terrible. No filling what so ever. Very very thin for a puffer vest.

This is listed as a puffer vest, and it says it's filled with polyester, but the vest I received had little to no insulation in it. Very thin and flat and doesn't keep you warm. Also, the colors are more vibrant on the website than in the best you receive.
