Nice down vest, with a trendy color combination. Fits a little big. Not fitted, but looks great and is well made.

Great look and fit. As the other reviews said, it is not very puffy, lays flat, but that is what I wanted so I'm pleased with this vest.

Like others, I found this vest to be rather lightweight. I love the color pattern and retro vibe and it'll be great with a thick sweatshirt underneath and I have a heavier vest for super cold days.

Originally- based on reviews that this runs large, I sized down to XS. I'm a pretty consistent small in LL Bean. I'm 5'5"; 125 lbs and 36 bust. I was swimming in the XS so it was returned not realizing there was an XXS option which LL Bean sent to me despite me asking for a refund. I do like things fitted so that being said- I'm glad LL Bean sent the XXS- it fits me great! I realize this vest is more of a fashion piece than a warm vest as it's on the thin side w/ insulation- so orig bought this d/t the retro colors which are super cute! I also realize this vest is running out of stock so maybe this review is mainly for the product team but it seems your retro pieces fly off the shelf- would be great if sizing were optimized because we really love the retro stuff- stinks when the fit is so far off. Also stinks when you sell out of these cute retro items so fast-

I love this vest. I love how it's not puffy, looks retro, and I don't feel like a marshmallow in it. That being said, their definition of slightly fitted is way different than mine. I'm 5'6", have fairly broad shoulders, and a generous chest area. I typically run in large-sized range for jackets and vests. I could've easily sized down to a medium on this vest. That being said, I'm keeping it.

I never write reviews, but I find myself depending on everyone else's reviews to determine sizing for myself. So, today, I return the favor. This is a lightweight vest and will be great transitioning from winter to spring. In the winter you can put a sweatshirt under it and then a long sleeve tee in the spring. The colors are perfect for spring and will go great with a cute little pair of white shoes. I am short, but I have a long torso with small waist and I measure 36C in the bust. There is plenty of room in the XS for me to get a sweatshirt under it and still zip it comfortably. It fits more like a small to me. If this is only going to be worn in the spring with a lightweight t-shirt, then size down for a more fitted look. The petite was perfect for me even with a longer torso. I like the petite because it is shorter in length and doesn't bunch up when I sit down.

The neutral colors are cute but this is a very thin vest that I couldn't justify paying that amount of money for. I was underwhelmed receiving it in person. I am between medium and large and got the medium which was pretty tight but the large would've been too big.

I expected the Puffer Vest to be more "puffy" and fuller than it actually was. While I like the three colors, and like L.L. Bean products in general.I was disappointed with the vest in general. I have a Martha Stewart vest.also called a puffer .which is down filled and better quality overalland about $30 less in price by comparison.

I got this for my daughter for Christmas. It is quite thin and lightweight. Overall, it is pretty so she decided to keep it, but we were both a little disappointed in the quality of this vest for the price.

Fits true to size, too pricey for what it is but we got it on sale and the colors are very pretty in a retro way. Great as additional layer, not Marty McFly" bulky.

Very comfortable but thinner than I expected. It feels sturdy but only time will tell.

I am an eighties baby and this vest def gave me a feel of nostalgia from that decade. As far as relevant rating criteria however the vest seems to run a tad bigger than items typically this same size and it is relatively thin. Think vest or semi puffer vest but not puffer vest

I love the color, the fit, the pockets: but I mean it when I say there can't be more than a handful of "down" in the entire thing.

Ordered the Large Regular size. It definitely fits on the "larger" size. Had to return it as it fit too big and just wasn't made to flatter (wasn't cut form fitting for women, probably the "classic fit" style and it felt/looked more like a vest a man would wear). Loved the color combinations but fit just wasn't flattering. If you are looking for a vest with plenty of room top to bottom, this is for you. Length was longer than expected which was good.

Love this vest but, had to return it. I purchased a small and it runs way too BIG. Unfortunately LL Bean does not offer an exchange option. So any discount you received does not carry over to exchange price which is really disappointing.

I usually praise LLBean for their excellent quality clothing; however, this vest was small for a 1X, fabric was very thin, poor quality, and colors were not as pictured. Overall, very disappointed with this item. Would not recommend buying.

Slim fit but comfortable and is definitely not a puffer. The colors are versatile and I will wear it often. I don't know how it may hold up over time as there are threads from the inside that I see. Still, it's comfortable and attractive and a keeper.

Arm holes are a bit large and no inside pocket. Otherwise, fit is ok.

I bought this as the colors were super cute and I thought it would go well in our Christmas photo. The downside is there is zero insulation. It is maybe three layers of nylon with no warmth. The fit is good, though a little wide at the hips if you have a slim and straight torso. The length is excellent.

Way too large. Fit was quite unflattering. Looked very boxy and huge

I bought the 1X that was supposed to fit 45" around the chest. It is extremely large. Measured flat, the chest is 24.5", which means it can fit 49" around. Unfortunately I need to return this for a smaller size. LLBean needs more accurate size charts.

I returned this vest because it looked lighter in color and material than I pictured.

The colors of this vest are not at all as shown on the website. The cherry green and pinks are more olive and mauve.

I thought it ran a little small, but it was too long for me.
