Lightweight, nicely fitted, warm in the chill. This was the perfect coat for our trip to Arches National Park in March. LL Bean plus sizes run smaller than their competitors, so I sized up for the perfect fit.

I bought this a size up to be able to throw it over heavy sweatshirts etc. very warm. Hood wraps around head nicely. Good purchase.

I am absolutely loving this jacket!!! I am old and cold all the time! I wore it out in a snowstorm yesterday and stayed dry, too. I could put this jacket on and live in it all day, it is so cozy and light weight! I highly reccomend it for Fall and even some winter use, love the hood, too. The fit is great! I usually wear a 16, this is a XL reg and fit just fine over my heavy L L Bean cable knit sweater. I think it is going to be perfect for our Upstate NY weather!

I bought this jacket because I was headed on a trip where the predictions were for weather in the 40 degrees F. (In fact, it snowed while I was on the trip.) I bought a Misses Medium because I wanted a jacket that would layer. This very light weight jacket is surprisingly warm and I was glad to have the hood when the wind blew. It layers beautifully over a sweater and vest. I didn't use the packaway feature because it packed so lightly in my suitcase. My only complaint is that it doesn't have a two-way zipper. I own an older version of the jacket (which I wear everywhere) that also doesn't have a two-way zipper. I also own several jackets from another major vendor of outdoor clothing; these have two-way zippers. LLBean: these zippers are very convenient when you're riding in a car. HOPE to see them on future LLBean clothing even if they add a few $$ to the price.

I got this jacket in a pink color which I loved as the shade is kind of light raspberry and goes with many other colors I have. The fit for me was perfect as was the weight can take me through fall, winter and spring. For winter just buy a heavier sweater top under it. A great all around find.

I bought this for my wife in preparation for a trip later this year. It is lightweight and packs into itself very nicely so it easily fits into a suitcase or day pack. Not sure yet about the warmth factor, but it seems like it will be sufficient for down in the 30F range especially with layering. This is what we wanted.

I am very pleased with this jacket. I like the length, quality and color of this jacket. I've gotten compliments on the color. The zippered pockets have already came in handy. Would love to get another color but it is expensive. Maybe next year. I would also like a longer one that would cover my bottom when I sit.

So light and warm.can wear it all day. Pack it and go. Love it!

Great lightweight jacket with a hood. Keeps you warm on cold days and blocks wind. Not too heavy. Just perfect.

What a great lightweight jacket. Wore it through Canadian Rockies - warm and packable. Ordered a little loose (medium instead of small) for easy layering. Buying it in another color too.

Pretty jacket for chilly weather! I have the lightish green color. The jacket is light weight, and would be easy to pack. I would recommend.

My adult daughter and I both have, love this jacket. We've owned over years. She lives north, I live south, we both love travel. We've learned we grab this jacket most over others for surprising versatility. We've learned the wide temp range and conditions this jacket accommodates with a shirt switch between 150/250 wool based layer, breathable long or short sun shirts. As needed, we add correct weather weight gloves, boots, socks, leggings. Jacket holds warmth well in wind, even light rain, snow. Packs light, can also tie around waist when temps warm. Hood works well as wind block. Though hood not string adjustable, our priority was hood being thermal to provide extra warmth. Zipper rarely a problem for how much use. Pocket size great. Overall size personal like most clothes. If handmade for me, I could use very slight extra thru chest/shoulder, but that is my norm. Jacket fitted, less bulky for puffy jacket. Also, jacket warmer than comparably sized I have that were more expensive. Thank you LLBean! My daughter like me tried several others before landing with this jacket.

Love the jacket it is what I have been looking for, for awhile. It is lightweight enough but warm enough to walk outside when it is chilly. I am always cold but this jacket does the trick. It really keeps me very comfortable.

This is much lighter than I anticipated. However, I love the styling, and its perfect for running errands or shopping. Please LLBean make this exact style in a warmer jacket.

I bought this coat in pink, not my normal color. I have had so many compliments on how nice it looks. Very lightweight for Connecticuts fickle weather, but has kept me warm on snowy days as well. The fit is amazing and I love the hood. I'm so happy I bought it and I am getting another one for my daughter before she steals mine.

I love this jacket. Already had it in pink and added black to my closet. Especially like the sleeve length. As a short person sleeves are frequently way too long. These are just right and don't tend to slip down over my hands. I am in Florida and the jacket isn't too heavy for a cold day here - have also worn it on a cold day in Chicago and the jacket was warm enough there. Just right.

I received this jacket about one month ago and have not stopped wearing it. It is so lightweight yet warm. It's very comfortable and has several pockets with zippers. I bought the pink and its a wonderful color. I am 5'2" and I bought the PS. The fit was great even for me which i sometimes have a problem with the length of the arms (they are too long generally). I would definitely recommend especially since its packable!

This jacket is cute on as it is slightly tapered through the waist. I like that LL Bean has petite sizes. I'm 5' 1 and 113 pounds and ordered a petite small. It's lightweight and packable. Love it.

Warm and light weight, I love this jacket. Great for travel, folds up really small and doesn't take up a lot of room in your suitcase.
