Great lightweight jacket. Perfect for going from car to store & back. Add a vest & perfect weight for 36 degrees & up. Runs long so petite worked for me @ 5'6".

I've purchased many jackets through the years and not ONE has measured up to the quality and performance of this outerwear design. Living in the South, we swing from freezing temperatures in the AM to comfortable afternoons... This jacket provides warmth without being bulky or constricting. I've received many compliments on the design and color (gun metal with orange lining and accents) and have shared my great find with many friends, colleagues and family. Would definitely buy again; but, I know I won't have to look anywhere else to find the quality that L L Bean provides. Thank you for ending my quest to find The Perfect Jacket!

LOVE this jacket. I bought a black Packaway several years ago specifically for hiking and its light-weight warmth continues to serve me well. It's still warm and I still wear it on the trail. I bought this second jacket to wear in my every-day life as I wanted something a bit brighter than black. I'm 5'4" tall, 130 pounds and found the Petite Medium fit me perfectly. The Regular Medium longer and the bottom hem was quite a bit larger around the hips.

It fits perfectly, size petite XL. I usually wear petite L in women's tops. The Primaloft Packaway Jacket is warm and has a very light feel to it while I wear it. I am very happy with my purchase.

This jacket is super warm! And not bulky at all. Fits over several layers including a vest and is able to fit under my Carhartt coat without any problems. The pockets are large and I love that they zip up. I haven't tried to pack it away in its little pocket yet, but I'm sure that will be fine as well.

In spite of being thin ("packable"), jacket seems to radiate warmth when being worn. I don't think it would be warm enough in the teens or twenties though, even with a sweater, but otherwise warm and comfortable.

Light but warm, nice fit. Would recommend if that's what you need.

Love it! Light yet warm and fits great. I can fold the sleeves in and let them down over my hands if needed.

I bought this jacket in red, size small for traveling in late winter/early spring. It's perfect. The red is a beautiful, versatile shade. I am often in between a small and medium in tops/jackets. The small is sized to allow for a layer underneath. It was perfect for travel - insanely lightweight and packable. But it is also my go-to jacket at home, as it's so good looking, yet warm down into the 30's. Form and function! It keeps me warm in much colder temps if I'm exercising or moving briskly, but it's too good looking to sweat in. :) I love this jacket. Pricey, but worth it.

Gives warmth, great jacket for outdoor hikes, golf, errands in VA. Very easy to pack for trips for that extra layer of warmth just in case.

I first bought this jacket for myself in red, and in black for my daughter. It is light and warm .

Lightweight yet provides warmth for mild winter temps (mid 30's + F). When I purchased in store, it looked light green. When at home, it looks light blue with green trim. In the sunshine, it looks blue with blue trim. Love the extra pockets!

This jacket fits perfect and a lightweight option for use all year. I'm a petite, 5' 3" and approximately 125 lbs. I ordered a medium petite and it fits like a glove. This jacket is a great fit and very well made. I also applaud them for incorporating recycled fabric into the design.

I ordered a petite and it actually fits! So often arms are way too long. This coat is lightweight but warm and the color is true to the picture (blue).

This jacket turned out to be the perfect solution. I wanted a warm, lightweight jacket for an upcoming trip. It was great for a little something on the plane and the right amount of warmth for the cooler temperatures (30-50 degrees) during our time outdoors. Fit was just right over sweaters.
