Pros: The fit was perfect. It looks good. It's comfortable. Cons: Very thin, doesn't add much warmth. Expected more for the price. Would be a good fall vest, not Iowa winter vest.

Excellent fit; ample room to wear sweater underneath without feeling bulky. Love the length (unlike short vests); nice quality.

Very well made. Bought a large which runs a little large and is longer than some of my vests and shows beneath a regular large LL Bean jacket I bought a few years back. The positioning of the LL Bean logo looks a bit like a name tag one has to wear sometimes since it is positioned so close to the collar. Not fond of that positioning, and it makes it appear less dressy which makes me less likely to wear it with some things. Was glad to see that the "stand-up collar" also sat down very well. The Sienna brick color is also very nice for this time of year (Autumn)..

I absolutely love this vest, I wear it to work or walking and can balance the cool fall temperatures well. I do like the button on the pocket and the deep pocket wells because I can fit a large phone in there.

I had to send this back because of a spot I didn't notice when I bought it. But, I LOVE this vest. Looking forward to receiving the new one!

The fit, the weight and the quality are all perfect, and the price is so reasonable. I wish it came in more colors.

It's nice. Good fabric, warm but not heavy. I purchased the Petite XXS and it's still a little big....Hmmm. The waist band has little ropes that you can pull to tighten around the bottom and just tie them off. Anyway, you can both wash and dry this jacket and it's just a very nice jacket.

I use a vest under an insulated shirt to stay warm in the cold weather months when we set our thermostats to 65 degrees. This vest works very well as it isn't too bulky to layer and still warm enough for when I have to remove the insulated shirt to do the dishes, etc.

Great vest! Wonderful weight, length and perfect fit! Obviously not for frigid weather but I have been wearing since I got this in October and will continue until until it gets really colder. Just keeps me comfortably warm in wide range of temperatures need more colors ( deep red or navy)so could get more!

I love the color I purchased it really captures Fall!!! The vest is great length and a bit bigger in size so to allow comfort under the arms with a sweater.

Well made, would have liked a little more "puff". I ordered a medium because I prefer to wear it over a sweat shirt, and with L.L.BEAN I am between a small and a medium.

Lightweight vest. Perfect for Fall and could even go under a loose coat. I gave blue and black. Kinda long-would recommend getting a petite if you're petite.

This is the second best I've ordered. These are fabulous pieces. Warm, not too puffy, fit well as an inner layer in coldest of days. They also wash well and hold up over time If the came in more colors I'd order them!

My wife had an illness which has affected her ability to keep warm even though the temperature was warm. We have tried several sweaters but could not find one she was comfortable with on a daily basis. I received my copy of the LLBean Christmas Catalog and was thumbing through it when I saw the mountain blazer. It was a perfect match for our problem so I made the purchase. As it turned out it was the answer to her problem. Light weight, easy to maintain and looks good in almost any situation. I would recommend this item to anyone with this problem, it works.

This is a soft, comfortable and lightweight vest. It is not "puffy". It has neither a fitted or oversized fit on me.It allows for movement with a turtle neck sweater and I wear it comfortably indoors and under a coat which was my purpose for the vest. It does not have a double zipper which I prefer but there is still room at the hem where it falls on me to sit down comfortably. It has a neat simple look on and I am pleased with the purchase. I am short and purchased the XXS. Although the size chart recommends an XS. The XS had too much room for the fit I wanted.
