It seemed okay but the fit was off. I returned it.

Not as described! This jacket isn't warm. It's a lined version of a rain coat. In addition it has a 2 way zipper that's constantly getting stuck.

I was disappointed in the material which to me , is plastic, not even material . This type of material is NOT breathable, i don't care what anyone says ... its like being wrapped in a plastic bag . However, the cut of the jacket is good and size was accurate so on that score I was pleased. But lets face it, clothes are all about the comfort of the material & how you feel in them and no-one feels good wrapped in plastic. Unfortunately so many companys are cheaping out and using second rate material to save costs and thier prices continue to escalate ..Im SO tired of that as a consumer and more than disappointed that LLBean appears to be doing the same . I ended up keeping the jacket , I needed something....

I purchased a large which is my usual size for L.L.Bean products and found it to be too small in the chest and shoulders. Also the hood is too small and doesn't fit properly

Not the quality of construction or materials I've come to expect from LL Bean. The cut is more for sportswear than for outerwear; the front zipper hardly worked until I rubbed the teeth with wax paper. Now, it will zip. All in all, a real disappointment, considering that this is my 5th Bean coat purchase. The first four were heaven. And I'm still wearing two of the old ones.

I bought this in an XL so that I could wear a sweater underneath it and still be able to move freely. It is too tight in shoulders and chest for outdoor activity. It seems to be designed for fashion rather than function. I have lots of clothes from ll bean in L and XL. This is being returned. It is more suitable for city strolls than actual physical activity; form rather than function. It might look cute but I can barely move my shoulders.

I didn't keep this product. I did not like the fit and the fact that the hood was not detachable.

I thought this jacket was really stiff and very noisy. It crunched when you moved it . And also I thought it was a little small. I have purchased this size before from LLBean and everything was fine

+Beautiful coat, lovely color (sea blue), but zipper pull is on the left side rather than the right. When I emailed to complain about this, the rep said, No, it's not on the wrong side, it's a two-way zipper. She then included a Youtube tutorial video on how to use the zipper. I have encountered a two-way zipper before in my lifetime. I have never had a woman's coat with the zipper pull on the left-hand side, and zipping up the coat takes three times as long. It's inconvenient to say the least.

I wanted to like this, it's a nice warm waterproof jacket, perfect for chilly spring and fall days, but it's too snug in the hips. I'm 5'5", 128lbs and a small was my size, but i couldn't zip it comfortably. The medium was much too big.

Sizing was so horribly off...went off other reviews of similar height and weight... I'm a large. I have a large llbean raincoat this was not a large IMO, in most other clothing stores this "large" fit like a small...if you've got a large chest/wide shoulders don't bother unless you want that stuffed sausage look, not sure the xl would fit any better, prlly not. The one surprising thing was the length was pretty decent covered half my backside if not more.

This jacket is no more than a wind-breaker. Very disappointed in the fit (tight) and material which crackles or rustles when worn. The only good thing about this jacket was the sale price.

Poorly made, fabric is quite stiff. Not warm or comfortable. Once wrinkled, it is hard to get out. I feel like I'm wearing a school play costume made of cardboard.

Very disappointed. The material was thin and jacket fit poorly. I returned it. I have been a loyal customer for many years and am disappointed with the change in the quality of many items lately.

I purchased this coat for my wife. Was very disappointed since it was much lighter than as presented in the online description. Quality not what I expected either considering the price and LLB's reputation for exceptional quality. Did not return but should have. Disappointed. Note that this is the second survey you have requested from me on this product so what's up with that?

Returned. An attractive coat, but cut very narrow, perhaps to make it " stylish". Not suitable for vigorous outdoor activity. Would be fine for a walk in the city, but not at all fine if you need to chop wood. LL Bean has moved away from rugged outdoor wear, which is unfortunate.
