This rain coat is exactly what I was looking for. The length gives coverage just below the derriere and has the one thing I was hoping for which was the double zipper. I originally ordered a M but exchanged for a L. I found the M to fit just ok but was a little snug across the shoulders. I found that it didn't allow for even a lightweight sweater to ward of the chill of early season rain. I would have given five stars except for the tightness across the shoulders.

I like the jacket, it is well made. The four stars compares to five is because it is stiff, and russles when worn or when I move. It also seems to be slightly smaller than other Bean clothes I have purchased in the same size. But overall, I am happy with the purchase

I am 5'1", 133lbs and purchased a women's med. l debated between this size and a petite large. This fits in the shoulders and has a trim fit. Best w lightweight top underneath. Sleeves a little long but Velcro faster helps w that. Love the teal color. Taffeta lining a little noisy. Seems well made but wish zipper not so large and more subdued.

This jacket is really nice, great fit, true to size. Nice to wear with a warm sweater under. Its definitely not for really cold weather , is a great water and wind repellent!

I mostly love this jacket. It's well made, and truly waterproof. I put it to the test in a trip to Kentucky, where it rained non-stop. The only minor corrections would be that the sleeves run a bit long for a petite size. Typically, Bean's petite tops and jackets fit me perfectly, so this is unusual. Secondly, it would have been nice to have flannel on the inside of the pockets to warm one's hands.

Got this jacket as a present for me! Outside material is a bit stiff, but it fits well, can wear a wool sweater under it. Got it in black. Two things missing, an inside zippered pocket, and a darker solid color lining. Other than that, LL Bean does it again, with functional, well made, good looking wear.

I love the look and the fabric. The multiple pockets are great. I wish the sleeves were a bit larger to fit more easily over my thick jacket, but it is still okay. The hood has a problem: if I wear the hood snugly over my head, it hangs over my eyes. Am I supposed to fold the hood back?

Functional with a timeless style, this jacket is a keeper! It's true to size and hits right at the hip. It's perfect for those fall days!

This is really a rain jacket. It is lightweight, the flannel lining is not thick, the outer material makes a swishy sound when moving. I bought the large to go over a sweater, which is good, but without under bulk the jacket looks too big. Suggest ordering a size to fit. It does dispel water well. I lIke the four pockets.

I like it, although the fabric is stiffer and crinklier than the Columbia jacket I was replacing.

This is a good jacket for the cooler, wetter weather through late fall. Keeps me warm & dry. I looked for a jacket that is basic, & this is not very stylish, but it works for me. I hope to depend on it for years to come..

Nice coat but the sleeves are too long for the size. My wife is 5'-4" and we got both a small and X-small and still too long. We tried to get petite small but on backorder until February.

The jacket is lovely. However, I thought it would be a little bit warmer. It is very thin and I have hd to wear a fleece jacket underneath to keep warm on raw rainy days.

Overall I really like this jacket, its lightweight and warm. However, the sleeves are a bit too long. I ended up keeping the jacket as its great quality the fit just needs some work.

Love the length and fit. Im 5'6 about 130 lbs, athletic build. Went for a medium. Just wish the internal flannel lining was down the sleeves and an internal pocket would be nice.

The zipper was hard to undo, it gets stuck. I really needed a size large also. I found the coat to not be warm enough, the flannel is just in a small section.

Love the look of this jacket, fits perfectly. Not very heavy, good for fall or spring temps. Perfect rain jacket. The only thing I have found is the color, which I got the navy blue, is rubbing off on things. My tan purse from being on my shoulder and rubbing against the jacket is now blue. Still love the jacket enough not to return it. May switch to a black purse. I just think with LLbean quality the dye should not be coming off.

This seems like a great jacket but if you want a sweater under it order a size up! Mine arrived today and it will be returned as I reordered in the next size. It's more than "slightly fitted"

This is just what I was looking for for days a heavy coat is too much or its damp out. Definitely helps block the wind too! The only downside is it doesn't have any inside pockets. That would really be helpful. Otherwise great coat that I'd recommend.

The spruce pine color was gorgeous and this fit as expected, but I didn't keep it for a couple of reasons: - The water-resistant fabric was louder than I expected. It might quiet down as it breaks in, I'm not sure - I thought the flannel lining would be thick and warm, but it was more decorative. I needed a warm coat for winter and this was not it. If you're looking for a water-resisant spring jacket, this would be a great choice, but it's not cozy for the colder months. I'm hoping to find something heavier in the same pretty color.

Nice shell jacket. Would have liked the inside to have more lining. The flannel is very thin that's in it. Actually ordered plus size, but it's not available anymore. Got a 1X and it fits really well. Room for layering and definitely waterproof.

I really wanted to love this jacket and I almost totally did, but in the end I sent it back. I ordered the beautiful blue/green color and I absolutely LOVED that part about it. Unfortunately, I ordered a size up so I could comfortably wear the jacket over layers, but it ended up looking bulky on me. I could have exchanged it, but I have so many jackets that I ended up just sending back for return. If it were a touch longer overall, I would have done an exchange. I love jackets that hit below the bum or even lower if possible, but I'm taller than most women so I don't think this matters to others as much as it does for me. The lining in the jacket was really nice and the pockets were good as well. Overall, I really like the jacket and think it will work for a lot of people.

What I love: two-way zipper, lots of pockets What I dislike: noisy and not breathable. Worst is that water started to sip in after wearing it for one winter season in Northern California. Weird white substance also showed up after wearing it in light rain... where the sleeves were touching the sides of the jacket.
