Great for in between seasons and raincoat. You can wear your puffer jacket and then put this over it so you don't get wet. I sized up so it's more roomy for me.

It's a beautiful jacket, but the material is pretty stiff. I will be returning it because the zipper is pretty stiff and stabs my neck area even with a neck gaiter.

I bought this for my wife. This is a beautiful jacket (color is great) but, unlike most clothing at llbean, it is not the right shape for a woman with hips. The fabric and constuction seem very good quality but, it is very narrow in the hip. The zipper is not a two-way one so there is no extra give in the hip area.

The jacket kept me dry but I returned it because there's a one way zipper and it made hiking difficult. My range of motion was hindered. But if you are on flat surfaces it will keep you really dry!

This jacket looks good but runs quite small. I wanted it to work but had to send it back. I wish LL Bean sizing was the way it used to be.

It is so disappointing that LLBean sizing is not consistent. I have a closet full of your jackets, coats and sweaters all sized XL that I wear all the time. This jacket is cut at least one size smaller.

My wife is returning because the zipper doesn't work well and the upper zipper or neck cuff rubs her chin

I am 5'6" - 200 lbs. I bought the XL. The sleeves were way too long and the body too tight. Sent it back.

It seems like a very nice coat with good construction details with the exception of the main zipper being a one way zipper. A two way zipper would have allowed my wife to sit down in the jacket. This is the primary reason we returned the jacket.

I was so happy to find Gore-Tex in a Plus size. At 5'5"'I normally wear 2X & sized up to 3X for ease of layering. They body was fine with a bulky layer underneath, but the arms were huge, and so long they covered my full hand and more. The chin part of the hood covered my cheeks and was too stiff to fold back or down. I reordered a size down. The 2X is so very much smaller it needs an extra 3" to even get the zipper to meet! The sleeves graze my finger tips and are a more comfortable width. This is a beautiful jacket. You can give it a try but don't get your hopes up.

This jacket was a dismal failure at keeping me dry.

After about 10 wears, the zipper teeth are breaking off the jacket. How good is a goretex rain shell that doesn't zip up? I am really disappointed because I like it every other way, but I spent 250+ on a broken rain shell. If it weren't for the zipper teeth, it would be 5 stars but it isn't waterproof if I can't zip it.

I am returning this coat. I thought I was getting a winter coat for the price I paid. Turns out it's just a raincoat. I'd never spend 250 on a raincoat. The arms are too long and waist is too tight as well. Not comfortable either.

Not sure why they designed the hood so huge. Even when cinched as tight as possible, the hood stands up in the air and will not touch head; looked ridiculous. Jacket body fit well though and I love Gortex.

I really wanted to love this raincoat. The material was just too crinkly, causing constant noise (even with minimal movement). Returned with regrets.

Fits true to size. Too short, stops just at waist allowing rain to run down legs. Would have to buy waterproof pants in order to wear the jacket in anything more than a misty rain. No mesh liner so looks to be too hot to wear with any activity. Not worth the price.

WHAT A DISAPPOINTMENT! THE CHEST FRONT WAS TOO SMALL AND THE SLEEVE LENGTH WAS ABOUT 5 INCHES TOO LONG.
