Love this jacket! Should have bought it years ago. Love the green color. Love that it keeps me really dry and either cool or warm, as needs dictate. Like the drawstring on the bottom, as I intend to use it when I need to bike in the rain. Love the way the hood fits; doesn't restrict vision.

Perfect fit, function and style! Knew I could depend on LL. Bean to find a proper rain coat.

It withstands sever downpours, the hood is big enough to actually cover my head/hair, and it's long enough (I ordered a size up for laying/length). SO - 100% recommended.

Fits great, but did have to go up a size so that I could wear a sweatshirt underneath for cooler days.

Granddaughter loves the rain jacket and she is in Akron University. Been raining so she has worn it frequently. Grandpa

I originally ordered a black jacket (no other colors were available online) in large; however, it was too big. I took it to the local LLBean store for an exchange and they had the green in stock. I love this color. My hubby got a black one and I didn't want to be twinsies, so I am very happy. It has lot of pockets and pit zips. I believe this jacket will serve me well in wet, windy conditions for years to come.

Great fit. Performs perfectly in cold and wet with a good hood. Comfortable and lightweight. Also good in wind. Love the dark orange color.

I have had a chance to put this jacket to the test, in cold, stormy weather here in New Hampshire. It has lived up to my expectations!

This jacket would be excellent if it fit me. I ordered the xl and it was really tight in the arms and across my chest. I would want to layer under this jacket but all I could fit under it is a t-shirt. Never could wear it on cold rainy days which we have a lot of. If you're tiny go for it.

I would really like to buy this jacket, but you don't offer it in petite sizes. I'm so bummed! Please rectify this! I see this style has the chest pocket on it. Good. Keep that feature on your outerwear. (You have eliminated the chest pocket on the down sweater. Boo!) The worn-out Ben Gore-Tex coat I am replacing was 3/4 length. I would love to see a 3/4 version of this coat for serious Pacific Northwest dog walking. Petite women need serious rainwear, too!

This jacket is waterproof and has great pockets. I usually wear small regular or petite medium from LLBean, but in a jacket I like medium regular so I can fit my down sweater under it. It's a little snugger than another med jacket I have from LLBean. For the winter I also like the sleeves being longer to keep my hands warm and dry. We take the dogs on a long walk every day of the year and I finally have a coat for the worst weather! I got the dark orange so I'd be visible.

I'm delighted with the green color, and find the jacket to be well-made. It 's crinkly and stiff, but functional. I don't know if it will soften and quiet down. Unlike two earlier reviewers, I don't find that it runs the least bit small.

This jacket was wonderful. Loved all the features and especially the color. Was not noisy which was a plus. Unfortunately I returned it because it was too long in the torso and arms. I am 5'1" and this coat would have been cumbersome to wear hiking when having to climb over rocks/trees. Please make this jacket in a Petite - I would buy for sure. Deducted a star because it doesn't come in Petite.

I wish the hood was detachable. The color is beautiful!

I love the color, it fit perfectly and I like the style with the taper in the middle. My one complaint is that the material was not what I expected. It feels like a plastic table cloth, stiff and too slick.

Light weight and rain repellent. Sleeves are way too long for me, not sure I will keep it.

Super nice jacket, keeps the rain out! But the best part for me are all of the pockets. Two zipper pockets for hands, an exterior upper zipper pocket for my key, and an interior mesh pocket/pouch for my phone and one more interior zipper pocket for other stuff for when I don't want to carry a purse. The one thing this jacket is missing is a two way zipper (to unzip at the bottom for when sitting) given that the length of the jacket is at the hips. If it would have had a two way zipper, I would have given the jacket a 5 rating.

The hood is nice and deep -- and stiff, so it doesn't flop down; lines of the design are very slimming and attractive; it's made very well. I couldn't make up my mind between the Sienna/Rosewood or the Spruce/Pine, so I bought both. I usually take a Petite Small (it doesn't come in Petite), but I ordered a Medium so as to fit thin sweaters under in autumn. The problem is the sleeves -- they were obviously measured for an orangutan. I expected them to be a little long since I ordered Regular sizing, but three inches too long? I folded them under, and may have my seamstress shorten them permanently. Otherwise, it's a wonderful jacket.

If I were using this jacket for fishing or camping, I think this would be the perfect jacket. It seems very good quality for heavy rain. But the GOR-TEX shell is somewhat heavy, stiff and crinkly. The lining is nice...not plastic-y and cold. But I'm looking for something lighter for travel. Would definitely recommend for rainy weather, however.

This is a wonderful jacket but should have a two-way zipper so that it could be zipped up from the bottom. Would make sitting so much more comfortable and would put less strain on the fabric for bending over and sitting.

Great jacket, nice color, comfortable, versitile. I buy all Medium fit clothes from LLBean and they always fit great. However, this jacket is a bit snug in the hips.
