Nice jacket but wish logo was more subtle. The jacket has LLBEAN printed on the top left side and also on the back near the hood. I know LLBEAN wants people to know it is their jacket, but it would look better to not have such prominent logos on the front and back. I bought the jacket because of the good quality and waterproof aspect of it.

Soft, quiet fabric, love the color. Only 4 stars tgiugh, even with pit zips open, moisture builds up in coat just from moderate body heat, which is odd. Id prefer a 2 way zipper, makes a coat more functional. Coat fits well, very comfortable.

This is a nice light weight and packable rain jacket. I found that I wanted to size up to allow room for a sweater or light jacket. I do wish the jacket were a bit longer. The hood is roomy and comfortable, adequate pockets. And it kept me dry in heavy rain!

Kept me dry in the snow and the rain in the Swiss Alps. Went up one size to allow for fleece and layers. Vents helpful. Hood is generous. Disappointed it wouldn't fit in a pocket and no stuff sack was provided. Black, petite size M, 5'1", 120 lbs.

Exactly what I needed. Love the sea moss green color. Lightweight, sleek neat appearance. Comfortable. I'm 5', petite length fit well, except sleeves very long. When I measured my arm length it didn't even appear on their size chart.

This was my inaugural wearing of this raincoat. I loved the hood, as it protected me, but didn't impair my side vision much at all. It also helped keep the mosquitos from my face! I wore it just last week up in Alaska, got rained on fairly heavily, and although the outside was wet, the inside was dry. It also dried very quickly. I liked the velcro at the wrists to help keep it snug to keep the rain out. My only complaint is that the pit zips are not at all near the pits! But they allow some ventilation. It would be great if it came in a longer length. But it's a great looking raincoat! I love the green!

it has not rained yet, so haven't used it. But it is pretty. Is a little loose, but that is okay.

Light weight waterproof nice looking walk around town jacket. Haven't taken it out on the trail yet and not sure it's really my best option for technical gear. Fit is excellent and love the color.

Very well-made rain jacket. Has great features and is roomy, so it's easy to layer. Look forward to really testing it in Alaska!

Expensive for non gore text rain jacket. Not really waterproof but when new does shed water. The style tends to hug your middle so the jacket doesn't fit without a little bunching around your middle if you are less than svelte. I am 5'5" and 150lbs and decided to get the large even though it's a bit big because of the design and bunching. The medium fit and zipped but I wanted to be able to layer with fleece. Sleeves are longer than they need to be so have to use the Velcro at the wrists to keep the sleeves up. Probably a 3.5 star coat but it is not priced for the actual value.

This is a lightweight unlined jacket. Seems to be breathable and waterproof. Good coverage, good hood, I'm 5'2" and the regular small is long enough to cover my rear.

Lovely fabric and nice fit but straighter design for a taller person. Unfortunately for me it was unforgiving in the hip area. I would definitely kept it if it fit me be better. I did have to return it.

I bought 3 to compare features. Snap flap over one way zipper (would have preferred to be able to unzip up as well), velcro adjustable cuffs, 3 zip pockets, under arm side vents, adjustable hood with a slightly stiff brim. This is the one that had the most important features to m.

This jacket is SO soft compared to the more plastic-like ones, and it doesn't make that swooshing sound as you walk. I got the forest green color, and I've gotten many compliments on it! I also like the slightly flared at the bottom to accommodate my wider hips. This is the first rain jacket that I think is actually COMFORTABLE and feels nice on the skin.
Since the outside fabric is different, the outer layer does tend to absorb some water (confirmed by Customer Service). They assured me that this is normal and it should dry decently quickly; the fully waterproof lining is on the inside, so I should still stay dry. For me, this is where the -1 star comes in. I love the outer fabric, but seeing the outside absorb some water makes me nervous.
That being said, I haven't had a problem with it yet. The outer fabric seems to dry within the hour and I've stayed dry, even walking through heavier rain. Granted, I use it on a more day-to-day basis (not hiking), so I'm not usually out in the rain for hours to fully test that functionality. I'm still keeping an eye on it, but for me, the pros of it being comfortable, windproof, and not sounding like a plastic nylon garage bag outweigh my concerns about a potential barrier breach.
I'd say if you're looking to take this for long hikes where you'll be in the rain, the trail model jacket might be a better call since it has a fully water-repellant nylon exterior (again, according to customer service). Otherwise, if you're just looking for a cute and stylish raincoat that will keep you dry on a daily basis, then I definitely recommend it!

It's fine so far but ask me again in a few years. A raincoat I bought from you six or so years ago disintegrated. Another I have is probably 25 years old and shabby, but it keeps me dry and I still use it for chores. I hope this one is like my old one.

This jacket fit fine. Lots if pockets plus outside pocket that gives access to underneath. Not sure if it is rain proof or just rain resistant. It is easy to pack for a trip.

It is a great coat, great color, love the petite sizing!
However, very expensive for a raincoat.

I ordered the light Cascade Blue color, which I love. And I like just about everything about this very top-of-the-line rain jacket. However, for the price, I think a front double-zipper could have been added. When I sit down, the bottom of the jacket is very tight around my waist and a double-zipper would help. I also wish there was a longer coat version, like the Meridian raincoat.
We have a big storm coming in this week that's supposed to last 3 days. I'll hopefully have a good chance to try out my Cresta rain jacket.

Great jacket, but zip broke after 4 or 5 wears. Replacement was so easy, but it's Summer now so hoping this one will see me through many rainy days to come.

Classy-looking, roomy enough for a sweater underneath, good-sized pockets. Haven't tried it out in a downpour yet.

This jacket was a long overdue replacement of the same. It has some nice additions from my old one - extra zipper pockets and stretch fabric. Hopefully the lining material won't disintegrate over time like the previous one. I was told by the sales person that it is a new coating. Overall, I'm pleased with the updates and quality of the jacket.

Works well. Bought oversized to layer in the winter. One thing that would make it 5-star is if it came in a lighter color other than pink or baby blue. Tough to be seen at night or in the woods.

I wanted a raincoat that could be worn as a regular coat for traveling. This fit the bill perfectly. It's comfortable and "quiet", not crinkly sounding. My only complaint is the color choices. I really wanted navy, but it wasn't available in this style.
