This jacket is warm, stylish, and fits true to size! I am curvy and the cut accommodates my hips without over extenuating...love!

I love my new coat--it'a a medium. I had ordered a large at first but it was too big, so know that when purchasing--it tends to run larger than expected.

This is a great midweight - lightweight jacket. Sitting around the campfires late at night on a cold desert night, up on a hike in the early morning, or while camping up in the woods it kept me very warm. Great fit. Roomy enough to wear a sweater or flannel to add a layer. I have a low temp heavy weight down L.L.Bean vest that can be added for the snow country or colder winter trips. This Sweater Jacket is very wind resistant. I haven't tried it in the rain yet. Love having the hood. Because it doesn't have a cinch, I know in the very cold I'll just add my stocking cap under it. The color matched and blends with my heavy vest perfectly. Love the style, the color, the fit, the quality.

I bought this to replace the same jacket which was about 5 yrs old, had no hood, and was now a bit snug in the middle. I wore it a lot! But I decided I definitely needed room for a sweater underneath and a hood, so I bought the next size up, a Petite medium. It is a bit longer in the torso than my old one which is fine, but the cut is flattering. Love this jacket. My only complaint is the LLBean logo is front and center chest on this new model where my old jacket had it discreetly on the hem in the same jacket color. I do hate the branding of items. I live in this jacket in all but the coldest days. Comfy!

I would call it a jacket rather than a sweater. Would've been nice to have a way to cinch hood around head. Good for cool to cold temps. Haven't worn it in bitter cold. Sizing is generous. Nice color. Have had it a month or so. Going into Spring, so not sure how well it will wear over time.

I love this jacket. I researched and tried on several different puffy jackets from different stores/brands, and this is the one I kept. Pros: it's lightweight, it isn't too snug around my hips (I have a smaller waist and bigger hips), the pockets are deep, the sleeves are on the longer side, and the Night color is a beautiful blue. My only wish is that the hood was adjustable.

My go to jacket for everyday. Warm, lightweight, cozy. Sturdier zipper than my old one which is great. Love it.

I love this jacket! I'm in Minnesota and it seems that we go through 2 or 3 seasons in one day. This jacket is great for layering and keeps the wind at bay. It is light and packable yet keeps me cozy. Would definitely recommend.

I was looking for something light to layer while snowshoeing or hiking in the winter. This fits the bill nicely.

This is a great jacket. It is really, really warm - much warmer than similar jackets from other makers that I have owned in the past. The cut is great - not too boxy yet roomy enough to move. I love the dark blue color.

This size was nice and fitted on me, would not be able to put a sweater under it at this size, but that was just what I wanted. I wore a shell and a long sleeved blouse under it, so had three layers. Probably not thick enough for Minnesota winters, but works fine here in North Carolina. Wanted the red one also, but they were out.

I have one of these "sweaters" in turquoise, and decided I liked it so much I'd buy another. I saw the light Rosewood color and bought it. I have to say, the color is more brownish than pinkish. Hmm. I don't wear browns (I'm a Summer not an Autumn) but this pastel brownish pink actually works for my wardrobe! Now I'm going to search LL Bean for other Light Rosewood items, ha ha! Everything else about this sweater is just as nifty as the other one. I live in Arizona, so this is a perfect winter jacket!

This jacket is so lightweight, but so comfortable and so warm. I just went for a hike. It's 28 degrees out. I wore a mid-weight sweatshirt and this jacket and was warm the whole time, yet able to move around. I didn't feel like that little kid with the snowsuit on that can't put his arms down... like a lot of winter jackets make you feel. I had bought one at an outlet store a year ago and like it so much, I needed another color. Also, perfect winter jacket for women of a certain age who might get a little warm sometimes, and so are afraid to wear heavy things. ;)
Just get it! You won't regret it.

This "sweater" jacket is the perfect between seasons solution here in New England. This is not a winter coat but a great alternative to Beans heavy fleece with the welcome addition of a hood. At 5'6/215 I'm really an XXL but the XL fits with room for a light cashmere sweater only. Plenty of sleeve length and the blue color is beautiful. Not bulky, and easy to layer under rain coats etc. Only improvement for me would have been a 2 way zipper.

I really love this jacket. It is very, very lightweight and yet, very warm! I purchased a similar jacket last year to take on a hiking trip to Oregon and it did not disappoint! I was very warm. One thing I don't like so much is that the outside fabric is delicate and you do need to be mindful to not catch it on something and accidentally rip it. I've adapted to that and I'm careful. I bought the mauve this year and the orange-rusty color last year. I love them both. Wear them hiking and also running errands.

Bought this jacket as an extra jacket for travel. Takes up no room at all in suitcase. I wear it everywhere not just travel. Is extremely lightweight to wear yet warm and cozy. I ordered the hooded one by accident but actually it turned out to be a good mistake as I love the hood. The hood is protective during light rain. The jacket is stylish. Excellent pockets for storage or hands. I am extremely petite, it's a little roomy (xxs regular) but still looks stylish on. Oddly enough I thought the regular xxs fit me better than the petite xs, the petite version I thought was a little too big on me and I thought the extra length in the regular xxs looked more stylish on me.LL bean never disappoints for a quality product and I highly recommend this jacket.

This jacket is perfect for me. I winter in Tucson and summer in Maine. Mornings are quite cold in the desert. I am toasty warm in 40 degrees. Should be perfect for shoulder seasons in Maine. Puffy with room to layer and folds into its pocket. Very pleased with it

I bought this 'sweater' to be worn as a car jacket during the winter. Its ultra light-weight allows full range of motion, giving super comfort without overheating. Perfect for short and long drives.
What I didn't expect is how incredibly warm it is outdoors! I have used this 'sweater' as my winter coat even with wind chills dipping into the teens.
Great fit. Cool zippered pockets. Awesome hood. Totally satisfied!
