Nice to have a high quality technical jacket for layering that has petite proportions. Love the down & the cut.

I love this! It's very light, but pretty warm. Easy to wear indoors, when temps are variable (my office is right next to an exterior door that gets opened a lot!)

I have to say, I was having buyer's remorse after I placed my order. I live in San Diego (grew up in New England), why was I spending $200+ on a winter jacket? I was prepared to send it back, and then it came. And then I tried it on. And then I moved around in it. Darn, I'm keeping it! I'm not a small woman (5'7" and 215ish--don't tell anyone). I have broad shoulders and a cortisol belly, but I have to say, the XL fits me beautifully even with a sweater underneath. AND it even makes me look like I have female figure! Huzzah! I purchased this to replace a men's XL (different brand) that my ex didn't want, and this fits me SO much better with more room in the hips, no billowing in the waist, and really nice fit in the shoulders (I hardly ever find a nice fit in the shoulders). It is super light yet very warm in chilly temps (it gets into the 30s at night--respectably cool, no?). It also withstands jumpy mid-size dog paws (I'd read about some folks having issues with tears). I wear it on hikes, around backyard firepits, and whenever my New England-hardiness wanes. I'm sorry to say I love it and I'm not returning it.

I love the hooded sweater jacket. I previously had the 850 jacket, I loved it also. I went with the sweater jacket this time because I liked the baffle pattern better than the regular 850. I feel like it is more flattering .

I love how it's light enough for everyday walks or grocery runs, but warm enough for snow days. I was actually surprised by how warm it keeps me.

I got this jacket in the Faded Jade color. It's a color that I normally wouldn't get but I had to break out of my same old color rut. It's super warm and the pockets are very roomy. I wished it was just another 1 - 2" longer in length. The only negative is there is no way to cinch up the hood or tighten it so it stays on when the wind blows.

Fantastic jacket - lightweight and comfortable to wear through a range of temps. It's tailored while roomy. I only buy LL Bean jackets.

Very lightweight. So lightweight it doesn't seem like it would keep you warm but it really does. I am very cold natured and it keeps me toasty. Would recommend. Also hood fits and does not cover your eyes like most hooded coats.

I am excited to add the shorter 850 Down jacket to my closet. It is very lightweight and very comfortable. I love the fit, I can get a sweater underneath if it's in the single digits. It's a breeze to pack and It's perfect to grab for a walk with the dog. A great all around jacket!

perfect for cold weather. I wore this when I went up to Rhode Island this past week. It was 44 and windy and this was the perfect jacket to keep this Texan warm! I love how light weight it is and very packable for the plane.
