I purchased this jacket specifically for downhill skiing, and I'm very happy with it. On my last outing the temps were in the low-mid 20s F, and I was toasty with a base layer and mid-weight fleece underneath. The size was just right, and the zippers are working fine so far. The jacket is incredibly light weight and will be a breeze to pack for destination ski trips. Good value overall.

Great fit over light or mid weight. Very warm, I've worn it here in Colorado down to the teens and been quite comfortable.

Ordered this not knowing how the fit would be. Or the warmth of it and I was very happy to find the fit was fine. Also it is cozy warm on chilly morning walks with my dog. Bean you've done it again!

So far, we've had unseasonably warm weather so I don't know how this will feel in "real" winter! But it's very cozy & light at the same time. The pockets are quite large, roomy for hands and a few other items at the same time. Very glad I purchased this.

I use this on the weekends when I have to be in and out of the car running errands. It works for the winter temperatures but I don't think I would use it if I had to stay out in the cold for very long. It is a great warm comfortable quick and easy jacket to throw on.

I bought this because while I had a long, heavier down coat, I needed a lightweight one for our climate - Delaware. As I have gotten older though, I seem to be colder outdoors and we spend a lot of time out with our dogs, and in the yard working and walking at the beach.This was the perfect solution - great color too (I got the blue). I can't wait to see what it is like when it gets colder (we have had 23-30 degrees so far). So glad I bought!

This jacket fits great and is just the right weight for the transition from fall to Winter.

Great fit. Perfect sleeve length as I have longer arms. I love That it fits inside my bag when not wearing it. Great all around jacket. Wore it to work this morning in 24 degrees.

I bought a black one last year and have loved it...worn it almost exclusively. It is warm and yet light weight and easy to manage. This year I bought the navy......my only complaint is that the style changed and I preferred last year's.

This jacket is the most versatile jacket I have ever had -- I have worn in while walking to class, hiking, and everything in between. I have been caught in the rain in this coat and it stays dry enough in comparison to other insulated jackets. Perfect for the fall to winter transition. I love the grey color because it matches with everything. I am very petite, the coat is a good fit but I can still layer it over a hoodie so it's not too snug, which is great. I really love this jacket. The fit is perfect for me and the length in the arms is just right also. The jacket is so light that you can't believe you are wearing it. It is nice and warm for my walks and soon to be cross country skiing. A perfect jacket for layering too. I live in the Pocono Mts. of Pennsylvania and I will be nice and warm this winter. Perfect jacket!!

Bought one for my college student a couple years ago, then borrowed it for a trip to Alaska. Loved it so much I ordered one for myself. It was perfect for layering and folds up tiny for the suitcase and still looks great. I typically wear a Medium or Large depending on the style. I ordered a Medium and still had room for a couple layers underneath.

Smart looking, fits well, warm as promised - but the stow-away pocket doesn't work as well as expected

This is a great travel jacket, packs easily, and is quite warm. That said, it sheds feathers on the inside. White writing across the chest saying LL Bean screams the brand namea contrasting color, say, light blue, would be preferable

I bought it in the green color. It is very, very warm and very packable. But, it is a weird fit. i can't figure out if it's too long or too short, but it fits weirdly in the hips. There's nothing flattering about the fit - to me, it fits more like a men's coat - kind of straight and shapeless.

I really want to buy this in navy or black to replace my old one but it is off-putting that the logo for either of those two colors is stark white. Further, I find it weird and ironic that the more "playful" color options, brick and green, have logos in color-matched thread. To me, it should be exactly the opposite! Come on LLB, please go back to color-matched logos for the "serious" colors to give the jackets the most wearability/versatility.

Sleeves are a lbit long. Not too much of an issue since there is a small band of elastic at the wrist.

A favorite jacket for milder temps. I even wear it indoors as a sweater. Layers nicely under a heavier jacket in colder weather. Fits true to size. I do wish the fabric was a little tougher. It's so fragile that it snags and tears easily. Also, be aware that the purple color is very muted, more like a sun bleached, faded navy.

I had the hooded version in black. I wanted something packable that didn't feel so blah. Went with the coral-ish color. Fits well with room to layer underneath but it's warm so you don't need much under it unless you're going in negative temps. I'm 5'4", 130 lbs, 34B. Smaller on top than bottom. This has plenty of room in a small. Recommend but do note that it's warm for its weight, in some cases maybe too warm.

Bought this for travel to Scotland and the San Juan Islands in the spring and fall. Haven't worn it yet so can't judge performance, hence the 4 stars. Love the color (burnt sienna) and the fit! (M, Women's Petite) I am 5'2", 126 lbs. Fits comfortably even with layers! Doesn't look bulky.

Liked everything about this jacket ...except colors. Hope they will continue to make it but with more exciting colors. How about a brighter blue, deep cherry red, teal?

Inner stow pocket used to be outer. Why the change

Great jacket. I have not worn it in super cold weather though. Wished the jacket had inside pockets and 1 outside pocket by the LLBean logo.
