I purchased the silver color as a mid layer under my ski jacket. I was impressed by the minimal bulk for such warmth! I am sure that I will wear it as a jacket off the slopes and/or during spring ski season. I am even tempted to purchase another color. I really like it- I think it is going to replace my soft shell which I feel does not breathe. I have not been wearing it lately as we have had had below zero weather, but am looking forward to spring and even some summer wear .

I really love this sweater jacket. I wear it in 20 degree weather and it keeps me warm. This is the second jacket in the 850 series. They are light and packable plus warm.

Nice jacket. Lightweight but warm. Perfect for our more temperate winters in the SF Bay Area. The small fits well. Not too boxy or bulky. I haven't warn it in rain yet so can't attest to water resistance. Good length. Very happy with my purchase.

This jacket is amazing. It is feather light and polar bear warm. I normally wear a medium but found medium in this jacket to be a bit large overall. The small fits perfectly. I generally zip it over whatever clothes I happen to be wearing and go out to walk for an hour and am always toasty warm (even in chilly VT). It almost feels like it generates heat on its own, but I know it's simply super well insulated and trapping my own heat. I debated sticking with the larger size which would accommodate layers underneath, but decided to go with a closer fit instead. Very glad as I've had no need for more layers underneath. In fact, I think if it were bitter cold out, I'd use this as an inner rather than outer layer, so better to have the closer fit. I'm recommending this to everyone I know - darn pricey but wow - worth it! Bought the navy and happy with the color, too.

Fit is perfect and very comfortable, slimming. Bought the Night color. Have only worn a few times and seems warm enough for the several coldest New Hampshire days this year.

Love the lightweight jacketso practical. Nice styling, silver color is really practical to wear with so many colors and seasons. I originally ordered a small, but it was just a little too big. X-small perfect, not tight but appropriately trim. Love it!

Perfect jacket for a warmer winter day! I bought this jacket for days when it's too warm for my substantial down jacket but too cool for just a fleece. It keeps the wind out, has big pockets, and it's light weight. It looks great too!

The jacket is so comfortable and not bulky at all. It is as warm as my puffy Bean jacket. It does wear more like a sweater than a jacket which I love.

Loved this jacket. Extremely light, but very warm. Exchanged the midnight blue for the grey color, but have't received it yet.

I am glad I read the other reviews that suggested ordering down a size. I typically order M because I do not things super snug. I ordered this in size Small and it is still pretty roomy. Quality is nice and it keeps me warm on cooler fall days. I plan to use this as a layer under a shell when skiing. I think it will keep me plenty warm on a cold winter ski day.

I live in the desert, but it does get cold here. This is perfectwarm and so light. Beautiful jacketI love it. I got the dark navy color, which I really like! Very happy

I saw these light weight sweater jackets on sale a few weeks ago and purchased 30 of them for our staff. I purchased sizes small to 2 X. I had our company logo put on them locally. As you can see our staff looks soooooo professional and the girls love them. No problem getting the staff to wear them every day. They are definitely comfortable, arms have adequate room to flex when staff is loading equipment in and out of our company cars each day. While these sweater jackets are light, they definitely are warm as indicated in description of product. About a third of our staff wished the jacket had a 2 way zipper. Much more comfortable while driving. Thank you LL Bean for another great product.

I love the color of this jacket ("Night") and it is very warm, without being bulky. I love that it packs up into its own pocket, so this will be good for travel when I may need a warm jacket, but don't want to pack or carry a heavy/bulky item. The pockets are a good size, so when I don't want to carry a purse, i can carry a wallet/keys in one pocket and my iPhone XR (complete with UAG case) in the other with room to spare.

Very light jacket, , keeping me warm on temperatures in the 30F'. Goes with any outfit. Color beautiful dark blue. Bought a medium size, fits slightly loose. I kept it so i could layer clothing if needed. The but is: collar is LOOSE when you zip jacket up and you can feel the cold air around ur neck. Orherwise great jacket

this is such a useful jacket for layering . I live in virginia and having the option for warmth is great. it is attractive and useful for all sorts of outdoor activities. this is the second one that I have purchased, great option . I bought this size so I could put a fleece under it and a Gortex jacket over it. if you wanted it more close fitting go down a size.

This quilted jacket is a dream...light weight, yet just warm enough for a chilly day. Breathes really well. Ordered one for me (petite med...I'm 5'1", 134), and S reg. for my daughter. The R Medium was too roomy for her. The sleeves are long enough for her with the small. Looks sharp and not tight.

I love this jacket! Just the right weight for our mild Denver winters. I have this in 2 sizes---one (size Med.) to wear with just a light weight turtleneck and this one in size large when I want to add a fleece beneath it. So nice and light weight yet so warm.

My high school granddaughter needed a new winter coat and this is the one she picked! It looks very good on. Light weight and still so warm.

This jacket fits perfectly for my size and has a slight feminine shape to it. It is not puffy at all and is almost weightless, but still keeps me warm, especially when it's windy. A pleasure to wear in style, fit, and warmth. The blue color is a beautiful deep blue, not navy.
