Love This Coat!!! First time purchasing a coat with real Down and It lives up to every thing I'd been told. It is so light and comfortable but keeps me Very comfortably warm on my daily dog walks at early morning hours (often in below freezing temps), while still lightweight and comfortable while shopping. I purchased my regular sized XL and it fits with plenty of breathing room. Not restrictive at all.

I bought a slightly larger size so I could layer the jacket over other layers (fleece, sweaters, etc.) for days outdoors in the cold. It works! Lightweight and toasty warm.

This jacket, like waterproof shoes, is a game changer. I live in a cooler damp climate and this is the first jacket that keeps me warm and holds up in damp weather. The wrists are large enough to allow you to tuck in your gloves and the pockets are well positioned for your hands. The hood fits perfectly. It was worth it.

Top quality. Wind block is great! Classy color. I had one and the pocket zipper broke after 2 uses. LL Bean had me return it and sent the new one immediately. The first one was just a fluke and the replacement is warm and well constructed.

This is my fourth LLBean winter jacket, bought specifically for the bright color so drivers can see me when I walk in our neighborhood. I love it!

I'm 5' 1" and 108 pounds. The Petite Small fits great. It's well-made, lightweight and warm, and it looks nice. I'd been struggling to find a hooded Winter jacket that wasn't too big, and I'm very happy with my purchase.

I was gifted this coat 2 years ago and I couldn't love it any more than I do! I love the color! I love the fit! I researched and read reviews for hours before making my choice. I am 5'11" and I have struggled my whole life finding women's coats that have long enough sleeves. The sleeves on this coat were the perfect length, you can see in the picture. When I got the coat, I weighed about 240lbs. I purchased a 2X and was able to wear hoodies and sweaters comfortably underneath it. I have since lost almost 40 pounds and the coat is now too big, but I still wear it because I love it!! It keeps me toasty warm in sub zero temps in SE Idaho. I would definitely buy this coat again, and again. One in every color perhaps?

Quality Bean product. The hood keeps your neck warm, even when you don't have it fully on. Nice and light, but not warm enough for long periods outside (like a winter beach walk) that aren't highly active.

I won't buy a winter jacket without a hood while living in the Northeat. This Ultralight 850 Doen jacket is attractive, provides that necessary great hood, but most importantly: IT IS SUPER WARM! I returned a lightweight shorter down jacket in favor of this one simply because of the heat factor. It's roomy enough to wear a bulky sweater underneath, but has a more fitted look than other jackets....I would relabel this as a coat rather than a jacket and would buy this over again, very pleased with the style, the warmth and the design. (I bought the green color but would have liked a brighter option. Still, the green is a neutral that works well with bright scarf colors.)

I'm very pleased with this purchase. It's the perfect choice for those days when the temperature doesn't warrant a heavy duty down jacket. I also ordered a larger size to give me more choices for layers underneath. Very attractive color selection, too.

One of my best fitting coats. Very lightweight and warm. Love the color. I'm 5'3" and a size 4/6 and I bought the Small Regular.

I am still making my decision but so far the jacket has kept me warm in below 30 degrees so I am happy at this time.

This is a warm, well fitted jacket that is beautiful in the lovely blue color. The weight of this insulated jacket is very light but very warm. It is flattering to wear because it is not bulky. I've purchased several longer winter jackets from LLBean and this one will be another favorite. It runs true to size.

Bought this to replace a very old Rugged Ridge parka. It is so light, keeps me so warm and I love the blue with red trim. Couldn't ask for more.

I bought my first 850 down coat over 15 years ago. I wear it all the time, it's still in excellent shape. I now bought one with a hood. It might outlive me!

I bought this coat for my husband last year and loved it so much I had to get one this year! I live in CO and needed something that was lightweight but warm annd blocked wind and this is it! I love that it packs well for travel by squishing down into its own pocket. I use it for everyday, walking outside and travel with it. Highly recommend!

I have owned A LOT of puffer jackets over the years. This is by-far my favorite one. It's incredibly warm and cozy, and fits perfectly. I wear this on all of my chilly winter hikes these days.

This is my third ultralight 850 jacket. I wore out the first one and use my second dressier black one (without a hood) for certain occasions. I like the bright blue color with red interior. I need a petite size so the arms don't hang down below my wrists and fit my narrow shoulders. The jacket is light in weight but very warm and wind resistant on those frigid Northeast winter days. I can wear it to the gym and is easy to store in my bag.

The lightweight. but warm, jacket fits true to size. The stitching appears to be good and the color close to the pictured product. I'll need to wait for colder weather to rate its "warmer" rating from Bean. This is my second jacket like this from Bean. My first I ordered about 5 years ago. I love it and that's why I ordered another one. The first jacket is still in excellent condition, but I just wanted another color option. I will take turns wearing each this winter!.

I absolutely love this jacket! The deep lagoon color is beautiful and the fit is perfect. It is light, warm and wonderful! I'm looking forward to wearing it skiing soon.
