They are really warm despite feeling so light & thin.

Lightweight and so warm and very nice on. My 15 yo daughter loves it. And I borrow it!:) got a size medium, I'm a size 6/8.

I really like this jacket. It is light weight but warm. It packs down well to fit in my backpack. The hood can be pulled tight around my face when it is cold and windy.

I feel true to size; I bought extra large so I could layer. Great for colder nights and moderately cold sunny days. Two inside pockets: one huge pocket on the bottom left and a narrow one on the left paralleling the zipper, good for phone, keys, ID etc. Two outside zippered pockets and left one has an inside zipper so the jacket can be stored inside the turned out pocket. Another plus, I love the color. Very lightweight and down which is only material that my eczema allows me to wear. Only negative is that if the the jacket is hung on a hanger it has to be zipped up because no snap or Velcro closing available in the neck area. There is a loop for hanging on a hook.

I purchased the Dark Plum color. Like the other 4'10 reviewer stated the diagonal striping is very attractive for us shorties so I imagine it will look great on anyone who wants to look taller. It's a great fit. I purchased a Petite L because I like to wear layers in the cold damp Pacific NW. I like that it hits me a little lower on the hips so I can keep my hips warm. I get lots of compliments on the color and styling. Even though the jacket is a little pricey, I will purchase another color next year.

I love everything about this jackethow lightweight and warm it is, the fit, the color, the interior pockets and hood that actually stays up. My only complaint is that the pocket zippers keep catching on the arm seam stitching. I'm afraid it's going to rip one of these days.

Super warm and great fit. So nice to have the petite option for coats like this. I'm 5'3" and 125 lbs and ordered the Petite Medium so I could wear layers if need be.

This jacket is super warm, blocks the wind and repels water. It's perfect!

This is a great down jacket It gives you the warmth of down filling, while also feeling light and comfortable . it is the perfect length - hits at hips - which keeps me warm and also doesn't get in the way when driving The hood is great for extra warmth. The diagonal stitching makes this jacket especially attractive; and the closure with flap over zipper makes the jacket even more attractive And, of course, the pockets are handy . I highly recommend this jacket I bought the purple, which is one of my favorite colors; and it's a really deep, attractive shade of purple

I love my new jacket. I have to be honest I did not want to spend that much but it is super warm with very little weight and I get tons of compliments on it

It is very light and keeps you oh so warm! Very comfortable.

Very light weight, yet very warm. I have worn this in 28 degree temperatures and been very comfortable, with no layering or sweater. Nice looking jacket with 2 outside pockets, and two inside pockets.

I love this down jacket- it has great lines, is lightweight and warm. I like its hood because it isn't bulky and fits nicely over a warm stocking cap. I picked the blue color and am especially pleased with the contrasting zipper color. The sleeves are long, yet snug at the wrist.

The color and fit of this jacket is great. Big enough to put a heavy sweater under. Love that these come in petite sizes.

So warm, and I love the color. I like the length as well - not to short or too long. This is much warmer than my other down sweater jackets. 5'4" 128 lbs with broad shoulders and the small is perfect!!

It Fits so perfectly in petite. I'm 5' 5 140lbs. It's ultralight yet super warm. The material is super beautiful

I bought this cute jacket for cross country skiing in Wisconsin. When I received the jacket, I doubted it would keep me warm because it is so lightweight. I tested it out on a fitness walk. The weather was mostly cloudy, 25 deg. F, 7 mph wind, and 17 deg. wind chill. No snow on the ground. I wore a base layer and a polypropylene t-neck. It felt perfect for the weather the moment I stepped out the door (no warm up needed) and I stayed warm and dry throughout the walk. I didn't use the hood on the walk, but what I like about the hood is that you can put the hood up and it stays up without needing to tighten it down - in other words, it doesn't easily blow off your head even in Wisconsin wind. I'm 5'6" and 120 lbs and the size small is just right.

Love Love Love this jacket. It is light which is great for backpacking, yet is keeps me very warm and toasty. It packs into itself, which is awesome. A very solid jacket

The fit is perfect for me. I'm 5 ft 6" tall and weigh 120#. Sleeve length is also perfectslightly longer sleeve so I can partially cover my hands. Terrific pockets. Beautiful color. The one negative is the zipperI wish it were a 2-way zipper that could be unzipped from the bottom as well.

What first caught my eye was the color - royal plum. Then I tried it on - what a comfortable, lightweight jacket! Even sweaters aren't this light! I've worn it on cooler (above 36 degree) days with just a light layer - warm as toast (but not overheated). OK, I thought, but what about when it gets really cold? We've just had a few days where the temps were in the 20s and add in wind - this jacket handled it like a dream! Again, only had a lightweight fleece top on, and I did not feel cold at all. Pockets are deep (and they zip closed). Hood is comfortable - not too big, and but not skimpy, either. A nice overall length, too - it falls to your lower hips. And you know how winter coats and jackets weigh down your shoulders after wearing them for a while? Not this one! It's like wearing whipped cream! The only thing that could make this jacket absolutely perfect would be to make it waterproof! But I'm sure that would add to the overall weight, so until you can figure out how to do that, LL Bean, just keep it the way it is!
