Just what i was looking for. Light weight and comfy. Sized up so could layer. Sturdy zipper - easy on/off. Adjustable hood. Gloves/mittens easilt tuck in at wrists.

My husband just bought this for me. We live in New Hampshire & it's been bitter cold. It's very light & yet toasty warm. The hood stays up & has kept my head warm as well!! Love the blue color.

Great quality attractive warm and fits wells. I am 5' 3", 187 got the XL.

Nice and light. Very warm. Perfect for running errands and being out and about in the winter. Feather or two comes out once in a while but that's to be expected with down.

I love this jacket! It is warm, lightweight, and comfortable. I chose LL Bean because it offers petite sizes. I am 5' 2", 116 pounds, and the XS Petite fit me well.

Love the SugarPlum color with the light blue interior, LL Bean you're finally contemporary! I am also grateful for the petite sizing so that I won't have to shorten the sleeves. The petite medium is true to size, enough room for a sweater underneath. There is a pocket in the lining but I agree with the other reviewers, wish it had 2 inner pockets, one with a zipper. Then it would be the perfect jacket!

Jacket is very light, but very warm Runs true to size, but if you want a heavy sweater underneath, I'd go a size up.

With a base (Smartwool) layer, this kept me warm in 38-degree weather. I bought it to take hour-long walks in 25-45 degree weather. I wanted something that would be comfortable without being too heavy or bulky. This coat fits that criteria. It hasn't been cold enough to try it at colder temperatures, but I'm hopeful it will keep me warm, especially if I add another layer under it. I like the teal color.

The weather hasn't been cold enough yet to wear the coat. I do like how lightweight it feels. Bought it for Alaska trip in December.

I really like this jacket, I'm looking forwarding to wearing it skiing. The only downside is there is no XXL and the 1X is a little large on me (XL too small). I can cinch the ties at the waist which helps. Love the berry color.

I have worn LLBean down jackets for more years than I want to admit to! It hasn't been cold enough for me to try this new one out quite yet but I expect the quality of this jacket will not disappoint!
