I loaned my last LL Bean rain coat to one of my kids and never got it back. Since then, I've been searching for another one just like it. I found it! This is exactly what I wanted, it's light weight, so I don't sweat when I'm wearing it over layers. It's perfect for a rainy day in warm weather.

I love my new raincoat. It's very comfortable and stylish. The length is perfect on me and I ordered a size up so I can have extra room when layering.

Great design, lightweight, and versatile. So glad I got it.

Lightweight but waterproof - I like this coat very much. I just wish it had snaps of velcro to close it, rather than having to close the coat with the long and somewhat unwieldy zipper. Nonetheless, I highly recommend this coat

Great lught weight knee length raincoat. Folds into small ball for easy packing. I ordered up in size rto be able to wear heavy sweather under it. Love the look

This raincoat not only keeps you dry but looks great. It is longer than traditional raincoats so you get better protection.

It kept me dry many days traveling thru Ireland. It is lightweight and very comfortable. The hood completely covers my head and snap ties. The length is above the knee. Very fashionable.

I purchased this as a summer raincoat for a trip - it's very light and rolls up into a small space, making it great for travel. It's surprisingly flattering. It's long enough to cover your butt and comes in a little at the waist so it isn't frumpy. It's also not overly hot.

I purchased this with upcoming travel in mind. I love the longer length (to the top of my knees), and the hood that provides good protection. You can cinch the waist for a more fitted stylish look. I purchased a size small, regular. I am 5'4", 110 lbs. Without layers, it would be too loose fitting. But I plan to wear it with layers as I travel to England in the fall. I purchased the silver color; it is beautiful.

I originally ordered a regular medium (as I do with LL BEAN clothing). The coat was too big all around. I reordered a Petit Medium and the fit is perfect. This raincoat will be a perfect cool weather layer.

Nice raincoat. The fit is a generous true to size. I am 5'3" and the petite length hit right at my knees. I like that it is so lightweight and packable. Especially good for me is the bigger hood. The front over hang keeps my glasses dry. Dog walks are much more enjoyable n the rain now.

This raincoat is ideal for travel and packing it away in your Luggage. I love that it is so lightweight for Summer along with the fitting. I Ordered the medium and it fit perfectly.

Lightweight, packs very small, over a puffer jacket in northeastern Scotland was perfect.

Bought this for a Scotland trip and worked great. Repelled water on the rainy days and was a good wind breaker on the clear and windy days without being too warm or stifling. Very glad I bought this

lightweight and comfortable over my outfit. I returned the medium for a size large so I can wear a sweater more comfortably underneath. I wear a medium shirt but ordered the Large coat. I love the sage green color. Sleeves adjustable. Generous hoodie. Easily stuffable into large purse if no longer needed that day.

LOVE this raincoat. The length is the bonus since it keeps you dry up to your knees! The double zipper is nice especially when gettingni and out of the car a lot.

This raincoat is just what I wanted, with one exception. The hood falls down over my face so I can't see, an adjuster would be useful. I purchased a size up to wear over a mid-weight warm layer in the colder months & it keeps me dry from my knees up.

I pre-ordered this coat and am so I did. It is the perfect rain coat! It's light enough to wear in hot weather (lots of vents) and roomy enough to layer under in cooler weather. It's also slightly fitted for a dressier look for travel purposes.

I've long had the Trail Model raincoats and been overall very happy with them, but I wanted something a bit longer for a trip to Scotland, as I wanted to make sure my butt and upper legs were better covered. I also wanted something not bulky as I was packing in just a carry on. This Meridian Rain Coat fit the bill. Having read the complaints about the zipper before purchasing, I did spend some time when I received the coat "learning" the zipper. It might have been helped by some instructions, particularly with respect to the "two-way" functionality, but because I had read these reviews (and LL Bean's responses), I knew about the 2-way zipper and then practiced (with the coat OFF) several times to figure it out. Having done that, I had no trouble at all with the zipper when I actually wore the coat. We actually ended up having mostly beautiful weather in Scotland (imagine that!) but were treated with rain on our last couple of days and I got the chance to test out the "waterproof" claim (it is, in fact, fully waterproof). It's also super-thin/lightweight but great for layering. Very happy with this purchase.

A wonderful lightweight trench-type coat. I loved it so much I bought a second one in a different color.
