These worked perfectly for the rainy week we spent in Alaska. The rain pants kept me perfectly dry, the snap & zipper ankles made it easy to change quickly over my hiking boots. Weather changed quickly so these were off and on multiple times per hike some days! They would be too roomy as the only pant I wore for the day, but as a 2nd layer over leggings or hiking pants they were ideal.

I'm short and have trouble finding pants with zippers on the leg openings that fit. I looked at a lot of options and these had the best reviews at a reasonable price. I ordered the small -- they are roomy on me, but will fit over other pants on the trail. But the length is great, should work well with my boots and other hiking layers. I tested them out in a rain storm, good water protection, not too hot. Next test will be a 10 day walk on the West Highland Way in Scotland.

Extremely pleased with this item. I am 5 1/2 inches tall so petite size fit perfectly in length. I wore them on an L.L. Bean discovery weekend during the rain and they were fantastic, kept me dry!

Although they are too long the adjustable elastic at the bottom took care of the problem. Rode an ATV for several hours in them and didn't get wet. They also worked great when worn as a windbreaker on a chilly day.

Petite XS sizing fits especially regarding the length. I find petite size pants are normally too long, so this was a bonus.

Purchased these for a guided birding trip at the coast with rain in the forecast. First outing was 2 hours in steady rain. These rain pants were a godsend. They are comfortable and kept me dry and warm throughout. Good quality.

I participate in canine scent work, which is a rain-or-shine sport. Florida showers are frequent, so needed gear to be prepared. While I have not tested their water-resistance, they seem to be made well. Notable features are the draws to tighten both waist and legs, to keep the moisture out. I will wear these OVER my pants. A bit loose, but they will serve the purpose.

I wear these over some fleece leggings and that provides the perfect warmth and wind-breaking I was looking for....thanks to these pants, I am able to get outdoors for hiking and exercise no matter the weather. I first tried the size Petite Small , but they were way too baggy. The adjustable ankles make for a neater look than falling over the shoes, and it's easy-on-easy off with the ankle zippers. The Petite Extra Small with its elastic waist is a perfect fit for this size 4 lady. Great pants for inclement weather. Love them!

I ordered a Petite XL and most likely could have order a Large instead. The legs are too long but they are easily tied to be tight and waterproof.

I will wear these in the Arctic over heavy pants. They still fit loosely. I could move easily.

I love these pants. They are the right length, waterproof and very comfortable. They also allow me to be able to layer for added warmth. I will use them year round in my daily walks.

Wore these pants for the first time today. Couldn't even tell I had them on except I was dry after walking for an hour in heavy rain. They don't make noise when I walk, what a relief. Plenty long, fit great over jeans with turtleneck and sweater tucked in. Very light weight but feel sturdy. You have to get the right size because obviously the "fabric" does not have any give. Really impressed with quality and performance. Thank goodness because due to Covid-19 this my first winter with no gym membership.

This rain pant is exactly what I had hoped for! Easy on and off. AND if you already have on shoes, no problem just use the leg zippers! Easy on and off even with shoes on. I have worn them for walking in light rain and they are wonderful. I ordered petite small and they are roomy enough for layering. Great fit over my Noga pants and my heavy fleece tights. Getting ready to try some LL Bean tights to try with them. I consider these to be a layering piece, I'm not sure how they would feel on just bare skin. My only wish is that they had a reflective strip for walking in the dark. If you are looking for a quality rain pant, give these a try. I am 100% happy with mine.

Used for recent rafting trip; 57F ambient air temp, 47 water temp... no worries, kept me warm regardless.
Used for half of the river trip; once sun was up, packed nicely into minimalist dry bag (took up very little space). Plan to use for windy rain days out camping, hiking and all around outdoor activities. Expected to hem but it cinches up nicely over boots, extra 3 inches gives legs loads of room to maneuver no matter the sports activity. Had looked at this purchase for 3 yrs; wondered why i waited so long... very happy with product. Washes nicely; air dried vice using machine.

Since my gym has been closed, I've taken to walking an hour every day, rain or shine. I realized one day when I got drenched that I needed some good rain gear, so I bought these waterproof pants and LLBean's H2O Off raincoat. Both are excellent. The only criticism I have is that the cord locks on the drawstrings at the cuffs and waist are not easy to figure out or to use. I'm still grappling with them. LLBean should post a YouTube on how to use them.

Wore these for the first time this morning since it was raining when I went for my morning walk. They were great ! My legs didn't get wet at all. They fit well through the waist, hip and thigh but are a bit baggie around the lower leg.

They fit great and are adjustable. Plenty of room for pants underneath. They are lined and dry quickly. Great quality!

This is perfect! I work in the elements and to be able to push my boots through the leg holes with ease is 100% in my book. The length and size of the pants are very comfortable on top of my jeans.

After getting caught in the rain, I vowed I would never again tolerate being soaked for hours without rain pants. I am very happy with my purchase. They fit great. I haven't gotten caught in the rain again but I am ready!

I ordered these pants at the last minute for a hike across England. Holy cow, these are excellent! It is always raining in England and I knew I had to have something to wear in inclimate weather. I wore thermal leggings under these pants and with all of the rain and mud I was walking through these pants kept me completely dry and warm. I am tall (5'9") and not petite at all so I wasn't sure what size to order. I ordered the Plus 1XL. I could possibly have worn one size smaller but they did the trick. I highly recommend these pants.

At 130 lbs, size small was way to big. I will reorder size xs. I had a pair of these rain pants for several years and I loved them. I even wore them in the winter with long underwear and they were warm enough for 20 to 30 degree temperatures and lightweight, unlike heavy snow pants. They kept me dry through snow and rain. After awhile the water proof layer split and peeled away from the outer layer making them no longer waterproof. I got my money's worth out of them. I hope the new ones hold up as well! They are pricey, but I think worth it.

I bought these to wear to the British Open, where the weather is typically nasty. As expected, we had driving rain, 15-25mph winds, and heavy downpours for hours. These pants performed fabulously. Absolutely no water leaked through! I took them off and was shocked at how dry my clothes were underneath. Definitely would recommend these to anyone needing a medium weight waterproof option.

Great product and should fit over leggings. I am very short, though and the pants were challenging to shorten because of the tie at the ankles. Said they can fold and fit in the pocket but I don't see how.
