I ordered a medium so I had room for a sweater or my LL Bean fleece jacket to go under it in cooler weather. I was hiking in the rain for several hours and I kept perfectly dry. It's light enough to fit compactly in a suitcase. Great jacket. Big pockets. Just what I needed.

light weight with lots of pockets. I am able to wear a light sweater underneath and still fits nicely. Rolls ups for packing in a bag or suitcase. I would definitely buy again or order for a gift.

Just returned from day out in steady downpour and high humidity. Dry and only mildly clammy with long sleeves on bear skin. Performs well. Looking forward to wearing on hikes.

I purchased the yellow, and it helps brighten a rainy day. Nice construction and protection from the elements. The hood seals the deal! Folds compactly for travel.

I ordered 3 of these and kept 2. Was looking for a bright color for walking dog and a darker color for less casual occasions. LOVE the colors, kept the yellow and the deep grey. LOVE the chest zipper pocket easy access to my phone. The hood comes around my face for heavy rain and/or wind..have been in a few downpours since I got it. The length is good; the zipper side pockets great for anything and hold a lot and the inside pockets are great for anything I want to keep dry and don't need access to right away. What a great coat! I love it!

Waterproof and exactly what i wanted. Would rather have cuffs that are elastic, but that did not happen.

This is the first year I started buying shopping at LL Bean and now I'm hooked! Spring 2019 in the Rocky Mountains has been cold, muddy, and it just stopped snowing a few days ago. This jacket has been through it all wicking away moisture, keeping me warm in blowing snow (with some extra layers), and it's lightweight pack-up-into-it's-pocket magic even traveled to Wisconsin and back without taking up much room. The color is also great too! Highly recommend!!

After talking with a very helpful customer service rep I bought a medium PETITE that fits me perfectly. [i am 5' 2"/132lbs]. I haven't worn it in heavy downpours, but it is excellent in steady rain. I have always found LL Bean's outerweaar to be well made and good value for money. I am extremely pleased with this product.

I bought this to replace an older LL Bean wind-breaker from years ago and I like this one because it's a little more substantial and I love the updated color. (Got the yellow/green). I'm usually an XS in LL Bean, but I opted for size S to have a little extra room. I like that the hood is adjustable and it has zip pockets. Great overall rain jacket/windbreaker.

I needed a light weight rain jacket for a trip to France and Spain and this one packs easily. I love it. It will be very useful for me. I bought it larger than I might because I may have heavier winter sweaters under it, and I read that it ran small.

I bought this rain jacket for backpacking, because it is lightweight. Size small fits perfectly on my 5'6" frame. I also like the bright yellow color. It has proven waterproof in light rain, but hasn't been tested in a downpour yet.

The hood is ample size for comfortable coverage. The toggles are small and easy to slide for variable adjustments. The green color is perfect for spring time too. Walked in the rain and stayed dry. Shake off water when done. I have long arms and the sleeves cover all the way down to my wrists. Yeah! Light-wt. Taking it to Scotland. :)

I love the visibility of the yellow. It has a tiny bit of a green tone in. The fabric is so high quality and breathable. The large is roomy so I can wear a fleece under it. The hood fits great and is not too loose like some jackets where it falls off. It is so comfortable and nice looking. It is perfect. I love it and am so glad that I got it! Highly recommend. I agree with other reviewers that there should be a picture of how you fold it into the pocket.

Comfortable, thin, arms a bit long but adjustable velcro to tighten wrist area took care of it. Also drawstring waist is great. Love the zipped pockets.

I recently had to visit Ohio during the rainy season and was so very glad I had bought this rain gear. It was perfect for that weather!

Excellent raincoat, particularly for the price.

Just what I've been looking for. Lots of pockets. Don't have to deal with snaps-much better with Velcro ( closes itself). Does not have double zipper; I hate double zippers.

This rain jacket is superbly functional and wallet friendly! Its super lightweight and breathable. Ive worn it multiple times hiking and I love it! The water just falls right off of it and it keeps you very dry. I would highly recommend this jacket to anyone.

Love this jacket. Love all the pockets and that it is waterproof but still a soft material. I can wear this over a fleece if needed. Only complaint, it doesn't show how to fold into a pocket or what pocket.

I really like the jacket it was exactly what I was looking for, a lightweight rain/wind breaker. My only disappointment was that one of the pictures made me think that the hood rolled up into the collar, which I would've preferred. I may not have ordered it had I realized it didn't, but I do like the jacket and I am keeping it.

I love this coat! It's flattering and great to wear rain or shine (doubles as a windbreaker). LOVE that I can pack it into the pocket...great for traveling!
