I wear a lot of black, so the gray color is perfect! Second, living here in South Carolina, a lightweight jacket that "goes over" another layer or two, is just perfect most of the time. This jacket is light and easy to put on. I find myself reaching for it often as I head outside on a cloudy/rainy not-too-cold day. it's perfect.

I'm going to Ireland to celebrate my 50th wedding anniversary, so I needed a lightweight rain jacket. I couldn't be happier with the fit and color of this jacket. I can't wait to wear it during my trip!

This is the perfect raincoat! Sleeves are a bit long, but I have short arms. Couldn't be happier with this purchase.

Fits nicely. Love that the hood doesn't fall into my eyes. Is a little snug around my chest (36DDD), I could have gone with a large but was afraid it would be to big everywhere else.

I really like the weight of this jacket, light enough for cool days and not bulky. Nice lime yellow color too. The sleeves are too long for me and I have to adjust the velcro tabs to tighten them. It is a also a little roomy, but nice when putting it over a sweater.

This is a beautiful rain jacket, very well made and attractive, perfect fit and lightweight for running. I might need a more detailed video on how to make it fit into it's own pocket. It will get plenty of use here in the Pacific Northwest.

This is a great jacket to travel with, light and a great layer for rain, wind protection or inc warmth. But light enough to just keep you dry in warmer rain. Highly recommend it

Lost my L.L.Bean rain jacket, so I had to order a new one. This one arrived just in time for the November rain. I prefer a loser fit for movement while working outdoors. I love this style because it does not make one look boxy.

I bought this raincoat as my outer layer for a trip to Iceland in November. It was great at keeping me dry, and also served as a windbreaker when needed. I bought a bigger size so I could wear layers, and I was easily able to do that. It also folds up nicely to pack.

This rain jacket is so well made and fits perfectly. The quality and workmanship is excellent and I love the color.

This is the second one I bought. It's a perfect weight for summer, spring or fall. I like some room do I can wear a fleece in the cooler months. Keeps me warm and dry.

Perfect for intended use. Fits comfortably with enough room for a sweater, ample hip room. Good length for hiking. Tested at Yellowstone in October: good as a rain jacket, will need something else to break a cold wind. Replacing a 15 year old competitor's version with a shedding lining for a better price and fun color. Packs easily, lightweight.

This new and improved rain jacket looks and fits so much better than the previous model. Much more streamlined but roomy and comfortable. Looks nice so it can be worn anywhere. Very happy with this purchase.

This is my second llbean rain jacket. I ordered medium petite. I wanted a thinner jacket for spring and fall, it serves that purpose. A little pricey I thought but it looks great. I wish the llbean logo was down near the waist vs. on the chest area. LL Bean never disappoints.

First I ordered it in petite xsmall after reading previous reviews. Once I received it though I didn't like how short it was at the torso. I opted to switch for the petite small and am happy with the exchange!

I bought it a bit big so layers would fit under it. I love that it fits into a small space- for backpacking. It hasn't been tested in heavy rain but I have utmost confidence that it will keep me dry.

I bought this jacket for my trip to Oregon and Washington area, but I've worn it during rainy weather at home in Iowa and really love it. It's very comfortable and kept me dry even when the rain was heavy. Love all the zippered pockets and places to carry a phone. The hood is nice to have but was a little big around my face so I just wear a baseball hat with the hood over it and it works perfectly. I chose the orange color because it's bright, but not as bright as the photo. It's more ochre than orange, but it's still very pretty. Highly recommend.

Very waterproof, lightweight, and easy to pack for travel. Size small is perfect, maybe runs a bit large, but great for layering. It's also long enough to cover my rear! Used immediately after arriving in Jackson, Wyoming.

I bought this rain jacket for a fly fishing trip in Alaska. It rained on us ALL day, and this jacket kept me dry. I was impressed with how lightweight and packable the jacket was, which is a plus when traveling. Even with its lightweight construction, it still did its job. It does fit slightly larger than other size small jackets I have, but it still fits well and allows for layering, which was necessary on the chilly September Alaskan day. At this price, I'm considering getting another color! Highly recommend.

I recently wore this jacket while on a trip, It poured rain one day, but it kept me nice and dry except for some rain running up my hands and under the cuffs while I was holding onto the hood. That wasn't the fault of the jacket. I ordered a Petite Medium to be certain other layers would fit under it -- normally I would have ordered a Petite Small. The larger size is probably the reason the sleeves are a little long for me, but otherwise I'm very happy with my purchase.

Love the color and the fit! This is just the right weight for fall!
