It's a good comfortable raincoat. I like wear it a little bit bigger than my size.
The material is very light and easy to store.

My wife wanted n unlined rain jacket for morning walks. This one is a definite keeper! She folded it and put it in her FORD FLEX for daily use. High quality and excellent workmanship. This one has a hood which can be worn with or without a ball cap.

I received the coat the day before we went on a hiking trip to and on a glacier. The coat has pockets where you need them to store your gear and it looks great.

This was purchased for a trip to Alaska (unfortunately cancelled). It is light weight, has room for a sweater or sweatshirt underneath, and breathes. The sleeves are a little long for me, but roll up nicely. The hood and hip length give nice coverage. Perfect for hiking or running errands.

I love my fleece-lined Trail Model jacket so I bought this (unlined) Trail Model jacket for warmer months. Love this too! Recently got caught in two rain storms and this jacket kept me dry. (I hate using an umbrella.) Also like the way it packs in its pocket to carry in my tote or backpack...just in case! Love the soft green color and the velcro at the sleeves since most jacket sleeves are too long for my short arms. Appreciate the front pocket since this feature wasn't available at the time I ordered my fleece-lined jacket and I complained about it! Thanks for listening L.L.Bean!

This is a nice rain jacket, nice color of Nautical Navy and good quality. The fit for me is true to size. I got it on sale and got good bang for my buck. I am very happy with this purchase and would highly recommend this item.

This jacket is light and great for wearing during hiking or any outdoor activity. It is not light enough / breathable enough for running on higher temp days such as 60+ but I look forward to using it for running in colder fall temps!

I had an old LL Bean raincoat of this variety that lasted at least 5 years before the lining finally gave up the ghost (I live in the Pacific Northwest so it rains A LOT). This new one has already seen me through a few rainstorms on my pandemic walkabouts. Nice quality, the lining seems to have been updated and hopefully will last an equally long time.

My Mom-in-Law loves this!! .... The coat and hood work well. Bought this for her to wear to and from the hospital for chronic needs in our rainy unpredictable weather.
It's perfect for chilly waiting rooms and just right with pockets for extra masks for COVID protection and her small wallet and keys. Repels water and quick to dry. Keeps her warm in cool air conditioning.
She absolutely loves it.

I've owned several trail model rain jackets over the years and love them! I alway size up (I'm typically an XL) because I wear them over layers including fleece jackets, vests, turtlenecks, etc. (NW style!). While still large enough, this model's styling is narrower in arms and body so not as roomy as my previous purchases. I prefer rain shells to fit loosely. Some reviewers mentioned they don't like the Velcro tabs along the zipper but these are one of my favorite features (aside from being waterproof!). Many times I need rain coverage off and on so it's easy to simply open and close with the Velcro which also increases ventilation. During solid rain, I zip it up completely. My other favorite features include the adjustable tab on the back of the hood (allows visibility) and the inside mesh pocket lining which is sewn into the hem making it handy for an ID book or bringIng in the mail on a rainy day by slipping it down the inside of the jacket (although these are narrower than the older style too). Yes, they wear out over time. They lose their repellency and the inside fabric peels but in my experience, I get many years of regular use before this happens.

I LOVE this jacket! Fits like a dream, repels water beautifully, and it actually holds some heat in if it's chilly outside. Haven't ever had to wear it in warm weather, but I can't imagine that it would be too hot either. I have the yellow jasper which I didn't think I would like at first, but now I adore it. Nice and bright to be seen without being obnoxious.

I bought this for my wife for Mother's Day, and she loved it. She says it fits perfectly, and she loves that it has so many pockets.

I wanted a light weight rain jacket suitable to keep me dry while outside during the FL rainy season. I knew LL Bean would be my first & best place to look! I checked the reviews to determine the best size for me and purchased it just in time! It arrived sooner than expected and is the perfect fit with enough room for a 2nd layer if needed. That was a pleasant surprise since it is somewhat fitted. I was able to test it out when we had a heavy rain a few days ago. I could feel the rain pelting on my jacket, but to my surprise I was completely dry! I'm so very happy with the jacket and color I chose, that I'm now considering getting a second one in another of the great color choices available!

I bought this because I would be handing out lunches for the local school I work for because we offer curbside and have to get the lunches to the car. It has worked out great and I have gotten compliments on it. It is light weight enough that I packed it up for our side by side trip just in case. Great addition to my closet!

I purchased this to upgrade from my 15 year old LL Bean rain coat (that one was still solid, but I always hated the finicky zipper and its boxy shape). This one is cute, the green color is cheerful, and it repels heavy rain without having that plastic-coat feel. The hood tends to slip back on my head for some reason but it could be just me. Overall, nice jacket, hope that it lasts for another 15 years!

As always LL Bean's X-small petite fits perfectly. One size larger might be OK but shoulders could be a bit wide. Have not used in rain yet so cannot comment on weatherproofing. But always like zipper pockets as items cannot fall out.

I like this jacket. Color was what I expected and size was true. It is most comfortable when I wear a long sleeved top underneath.

I needed a rain jacket that was truly repellent, that I could wear with lightweight fleece vest/jacket underneath, and could stuff dog poop bags in a pocket. This was the one. Love the 'rusty' color. I like the adjustable tab on the hood. Comment: I'm taller than most, yet the sleeves are a bit too long. To the design experts: just because a size enlarges, it doesn't mean that arms grow longer! And please always allow enough WIDTH in the sleeves to accommodate layers. The chest pocket could be deeper - phone falls out if unzipped.

This sheds rain easily and it's roomy enough to wear a thick sweater underneath on chilly days.
