Love the coat. But first time I ordered it the zipper didn't work. They replaced it. Second coat zipper seemed to work better then stopped working a few months in. Super disappointed

So super bummed that I got the jacket on the first really cold day and it's got a defective zipper. It's almost like the teeth are mis-sized between the bottom and top zippers. Before I realized that however, I had put it on all happy because it was light weight, fit really well, is a nice blue shade, and a nice length. I was thinking my rear end would be nicely covered while out snowblowing the driveway. Also I was going to go outside to see how warm it was in the cold wind. Then tried to zip it to no avail. Took it off to examine and try to zip - nothing doing. They're going to send a replacement as soon as they can get one in because they're backordered. I hope the next one is the charm because I like the jacket.

Jacket was very large. Also had an odd smell, like mothballs. If it fit, I would most likely return due to the odor. Disappointed, I had high hopes!

Although a nice looking, after purchasing two different sized jackets, including the petite that should have fit perfectly, I returned them both. The hood was so big even on the petite that to fell down over nose! There is no strap in the back to make to smaller. Wearing a hat underneath didn't help. Tightening the drawstring just tightened over my eyes. The sleeves were too long and bulky. The length was too long for the style (I'm 5'3"). It felt like a bathrobe. The color choices are limited too. I finally bought a nice warm parka with a perfectly sized hood at Macy's in a lighter color (but not white) that I like. And to was cheaper than LLBeans.

Loved the color, burgundy. Loved the fit, petite X-SM. Exchanged 3 times hoping the snaps would close on one of the jackets. However, all 3 parkas had snaps that would not close. Disappointing.

I've been eyeing this coat for years. I finally decided to invest in one of LLBeans coats (this one) and I truly regret it. While the coat itself is beautiful, it is not warm at all.

I bought this winter Mountain Classic Down Parka last winter 2024. And it does not hold up. The first thing to go was the ZIPPER. It broke within a couple of months and the only way I could wear the jacket is to snap it which is super difficult. The button snaps are small and very hard to snap The hood could come off easily but it was hard to put back using the snaps. As far as warmth it is ok. Another thing is that it is very bulky. Leaving little room for layering.

I just wish it was a tiny bit longer with deeper pockets for treats. It's really warm and sheds wetness which is great for our walks.

This coat loses down constantly, out of every place and seem.

The jacket is comfortable, very warm and a great color! I have already received many complements.

Size small is huge! Sizing not accurate. Also, no free returns, and they sent me a gift card instead of sending credit back to my credit card that I used to purchase it. I will not be ordering anything else from this company.

The zipper was defective, so I had to return the coat.

I bought it based on the reviews and was really let down. First of all, it is not warm at all, I wore two long sleeves and a sweater with this over it in NY this past week, the temps ranged from 30-38 and I was FREEZING. I could feel the wind coming through the coat, my phone fell out of my pocket at least 10x in the last week because the pockets are not deep enough and do not close properly. No cinch at bottom of coat, only at waist, sleeves are too short and coat seems to run a bit big. Overall this is a badly designed coat.

I bought this a year ago. I was using it during winter and noticed that the fabric has a hole because of the zipper. Because it was a two monts past the waranty date they are not willing to replace the item. My husband has the same issue with his jacket. Called multiple times to replace and was ignored. They offered to repir it then they wanted me to pay for the patch and when I refused they removed the patches fro my and my husbands jackets and made more holes in the jacket by removing it. I spoke with about 10 Customer serv Reps and the managers and they just ignored me and repair dep. lady told me that the hole is my fault because I didn't unzip the zipper. I will never but anything from LLBean again. I thought thye are a good brand but after I was left with the problem and blamed for defective zipper I am not putting my money into any of their products.

I'm a small and small-boned women, small hands, and my hands don't fit in the pockets! It's a winter coat, I want to put my hands in to keep them warm. Worse yet, the pockets are so shallow that you can't put a cell phone in, and even a small key set are in danger of falling out. Even the inner pocket it too small for my cell phone. and it pushes into my breast, it should be deeper and lower. Plus, it's not a very warm parka, I have to wear a heavy sweater under it even in 45 degree weather. It seems it was designed for "fashion", not utility, which is what I would also expect of LL Bean. Do I have to buy a men's coat to be warm and have deep enough pockets?

Nice coat. Fit well. The zipper is horrible. I returned the coat.

Never received this item. Package arrived with a pair of pants, 8 sizes too small, that LL Bean doesn't even sell, and with no packing information. Customer Service was very kind and refunded my payment, which I appreciated. But I am bummed about the coat because it is no longer available.

I am 5'7'', 140 pounds. The coat is too narrow in the shoulders for a large. Lacks adequate pockets for a parka. The pockets are shallow. The hood does not have any kind of visor, so the rain and snow go all over my face. I have many coats with LL Bean. this is my first major disappointment.

This one star is as much for the product as LL Bean. The coat's not even that warm, but it does fit nicely and is cozy. After wearing it for about a month I noticed a tear on a seam. I contacted customer support who said I should send it in for evaluation, which is understandable, but wouldn't have a response or possible replacement for another 3 weeks after receiving it. This means I will have no coat in December/January in NJ. I will not be sending it back, and will be buying another jacket for the year elsewhere.

I am 4'9" 125lbs and purchased a petite XS. There is room for 2 of me in here - the sizing is so off. The length was nice though, it came to mid-thigh which is what I was looking for. Unfortunately had to return.

Not warm enough for the price. I found something warmer from LL Bean's competitor.

I got this as a Christmas gift in 2021 so 2022 winter was my first full season wearing this. I kept having issues with the zipper getting stuck and it not pulling up and ultimately last week, so we'll call it 5 months of wear, it basically gave way and the zipper splits if I so much as move my legs. These 5 star ratings are a farce. This is a piece of trash

This coat is not warm in winter weather, ie 32 or less; wind goes right through it. Zippers difficult to start & snaps hard to close. No inside pockets, outside double pockets not useful (zippers too small & fabric catches in zippers, snaps difficult. You will live in static city after removing the cost. Hood is huge - who has a head that big. Very poorly designed. Cannot recommend, too late to return , will donate. Totally dissatisfied.
