I bought this as a gift for my daughter but it was too bulky for her taste. I tried it on, fit great. I like the longer length, adjustable waist and detachable hood.

Extremely warm and comfortable!!! Perfect for a trip to the big apple for Christmas holidays! Loved the two way zippersitting down and or grabbing my wallet inside my purse (under my jacket) was so much easier than having to unzip the entire coat. Highly recommend!!!!

I have admired this coat all winter and used my Bean Bucks to finally purchase it. I love it. Very comfortable and warm.

Lightweight yet warm! My only complaint is the pockets aren't very deep.

I purchased this coat as a Christmas gift to myself. Best coat investment I ever made. I bought the kelp green. It's very warm on the zero degree wind chill factor but can be worn on warmer days up to 50 degrees comfortably. The zipper works great and has a two -way zip feature, top and bottom. Has a zip out hood. Has four pockets, two for hands to stay warm and the others zip for keys, iPhone 16, small wallet. I have received multiple compliments from my friends and husband. I'm 5'3" weighing at 126. The Medium regular fit perfectly. Allows room for layering and has a draw string at the waist to make the coat smaller if desired. Also has snaps on the coat and on the wrists, which I don't use.

Although I was born and raised in New England, I have never had a WARM winter coat. I love winter and truly thought I did not need anything more than a few layers under a jacket, even on frigid days. However, this year, I decided to invest in a real coat. After much research, I settled on this one and, oh my gosh, it is a game changer. I enjoy the cold weather even more under this toasty outerwear!! It is SO WARM! I love everything about this coat...the fit, the warmth, the features, the color, the functionality. It's a coat I can wear to church...and sled down a hill in. I can wear it while running errands...and while shoveling snow. If you're looking for a non-restricting warm coat that covers your butt, look no further! It's worth every penny!

Usually I buy a large, but I bought an XL because I like to layer. Glad I did! Fit perfectly and comfortable with the added layers. So I say if you're like me go up a size. Very warm in the extreme cold and love the double pockets with zippers, an added bonus. Just love my new coat!! The best one I've purchased so far!!

Warm down jacket. I like being able to cinch the waist from the inside. Side pockets are a bit shallow and should have zippers not snaps. I'm pleased with how warm it is.

It keeps me very warm and dry. I like having the hood in case it rains.I have a large and it fits perfectly.

I've been searching for just the right winter parka for a few years nowthis is the one! Living in New England, and being someone who gets cold VERY easily, I needed something extra warm. This parka has kept me comfortable on even the coldest of morning walks with the dog. It has a waist cincher inside to get just the right fit, pockets are plenty deep enough with an extra zipped pocket inside the regular pockets in order to secure you phone/keys/etc, the hood fits nicely over a thick beanie and the moss color is gorgeous in person. I cannot say enough good things about this parkaand I know being LL Bean it'll last a very long time!

This is a good warm coat! I really like the length of it, and the option that it has a detachable hood. I also like the wrists opening/closure, as it does not have a cuff type opening, but has snaps to make it more snug. I have received several compliments on it also, which is never a bad thing! The pockets actually have two pockets in each side pocket. There is a zipper just inside at the outer edge of the main pocket, that when unzipped, provides you access to a second, or secondary pocket. I can't say that I use that second pocket at all, but it does have a zipper, so perhaps I may want to secure something in it, in the future. Personally, I would NOT use it for a phone, I am unsure it would support the weight of one, and the wear and tear of that over time, as the pocket material is on the thin side, which is fine for just storing my gloves or putting my hands in. I have only had this coat for approx. a month. We have had some extreme cold days and I was kept warm and comfortable in this coat. I found the coat to be true to size, and the fit is comfortable. I simply needed a new winter coat that fit me and will keep me warm. So far, I am pleased with this coat.

The best jacket! It's truky waterproof, warm and cozy!

Bought this Parka for my lady friend, to match the one I bought for myself in Dark Pine/Black Colorblock. She is very happy with her cozy coat. The extra length of it reminds her of the car coats women wore back in the day. We had some days in the teens and 20's here and she was very comfortable wearing the coat. Size wise, she finds it comfortable with adequate room for layering, even though it is "slightly fitted", something we both don't look for in outerwear. This one was a keeper and was not returned!

You don't have to suffer under the weight of other winter coats. This one is light weight but also nice and warm. Winter in South Carolina isn't anything like up north, but we do get periods of 20-some degree days and nights with lots of wind. This coat is perfect for those "must walk the dog" days and evenings no matter the weather. I am 140 lbs. 5'7" the medium is a perfect fit for me. My inside the house attire is a turtle neck and flannel shirt. I Just pop on the coat and my earmuffs. I like the hood up around my neck, but not so much on my head. I highly recommend this coat. I gave up one from another mail order company that was too stiff and not as warm.

This is a lovely coat. I purchased it in a 1x for my daughter. The blue is beautiful! It fits well and is very flattering. Do not hesitate to buy this. It is worth every penny!
