A base layer fits perfect underneath. Great for a top layer on any hike. Fits true to size. It's lightweight and very comfortable. I love the big zipper pocket in addition to the big open pocket.

I loved this jacket when I saw it in an email. Read the reviews and purchased with Christmas gift money. Very happy with the fit and look of the jacket. Fun color block with a bit of Mexican style trim. Great for all my outdoor adventures and camping trips. Lightweight so fits in my Camelback without taking up much room so perfect for layering on hikes.

I loved this jacket, the colors are spectacular. I also ordered a zip up jacket, same color and size. The anorak pullover is at least 3"-4" larger in the body as the zip jacket. Luckily there is an xxsmall, so I am returning it for the smaller size. Other than that, really loved the feel and look of it. Can't wait to wear it as it's too cold right now in Minnesota! Wearing snow pants, heavy jacket and mittens for my daily walks.

I purchased this windbreaker larger than I usually order so it would fit over heavy sweaters. I love it. It's adorable and made with a high quality material. I'm sure I will get a lot of use out of it. Don't hesitate. Buy it.

I purchased this honestly just because I liked the way the jacket looked. It fits really well. I can easily move around it in and tighten the drawstrings on the sides so cinch it to my hips. It works very well at keeping me warm in 50 degree weather on a rainy day with just a long-sleeve shirt underneath.

Every time I've seen it, it's been sold out, which tells me that it's good stuff. It is incredibly comfortable and flattering. Folds up small and quick to pop on. (But why take it off?). The colors are beautiful and it's been a go-to I'm our chilly FL weather. Love this one.

I really love this anorak. The X large is fitted to my body, but I'm also able to put it over their sweater fleece coat just fine. If you prefer things a bit more baggy or plan to layer it with something heavy, I'd get a size up, but the XL was perfect for me. This was my go-to all spring and summer. It has 2 large pockets, and can fold into itself quite small when you want to throw it in your bag. I wore it in high winds and heavy rain, its held up great!

I have the original of this jacket - it's OLD and still in excellent condition! It's one of my favorite cold weather jackets!

I had bought this Anorak jacket about 30 years ago and I loved it! Somehow, over the past few years in a move it got lost. I have really missed not having it so I ordered another. Again, I love it! I wear it over a fleece zip up to cut the wind when I am out for my walk. I love that the length is perfect to wear over leggings. My last jacket lasted over 25 years (as most Bean products do) so I hope to have this for the rest of my life! :)

This is my new favorite jacket to wear. It's a great fit and is very lightweight, but still leaves space for other layers underneath. I would definitely recommend this product! I also love the colors.

I really am loving this colorful anorak for the chilly fall days here in Minnesota. It's great when I pair it with a long sleeve medium weight shirt. Just right for the transitional weather days before winter.

Purchased this for fall weather in upstate New York. It is great for blocking wind and holds up on rainy days. Size is true and I will be able to wear with a fleece underneath it as the weather gets colder.

I fell in love with this thing as soon as I saw it in the catalog. It didn't disappoint! I certainly didn't need another windbreaker but this one puts all my other ones to shame. Living in Maine, though, you're wearing some type of outer covering most of the year, so that alone is a good excuse for buying another coat I didn't need. The colors are vibrant, the fabric and the workmanship are of the highest quality, and the fit is perfect. It's roomy enough to wear a flannel shirt or sweater under it, And I'm getting compliments on it every time I wear it. No regrets!

So happy I made the decision to buy this jacket. It is the perfect jacket to wear on a cool day. I bought it to wear while walking my dogs. Plenty of pockets for my keys, phone, doggie bags, etc. The front zipper makes it easy to get on and off. Would definitely buy it again.

The colors are very cute and I really enjoy wearing it. A few notes that I have: I feel like it runs a little larger than I expected. I measured myself and decided to go with the X-Large in order to make sure it was not tight. In doing so, it is still comfy and cute but I feel like it looks a little balloon-like and I could have gone with a large. Additionally, I thought that it would be okay to just wear as a sweatshirt to the store (without a bra) and the material is not conducive for that. Still love the product, I just want others to learn from my decisions!

I love this. The colors are really nice. It's very lightweight. I'm in between sizes and I'm a bit large on top so I got a size large. It's a bit big but I plan on layering it so it'll work just fine. I'm excited for the fall season now. It's going to pair nicely with boots and thick leggings.

Nice fit with room to layer. Very comfortable! I wore this jacket the whole time I was in Washington. It is great for chilly or rainy weather and it is easy to move in.....nice look too!

This is going to be my favorite Florida winter coat! It's roomy enough to layer over a light sweater, but fits fine over a T-shirt as well. The fabric doesn't cling, so it's easy on and off over another top. I thought it was going to be canvasy, but it's more of a windbreaker feel. The fabric feels like it will shed some water (probably light shower), but is breathable. The colors are rich and true.

Just returned from a walk on the Lake shoreline. It is in the '50s with a very brisk wind blowing! Totally pleased and pleasantly surprised how well this kept me warm. I had two layers on under the Anorak. It is an excellent windbreaker!
