I bought this jacket to take on vacation to Iceland. The temperature was between 20-30 degrees everyday. Everyone else had on parkas, but I was super toasty in this jacket with a couple of layers underneath. I would be perfect for skiing or other winter activities.

I absolutely love this jacket! It's waterproof and warm for those cold, rainy days. What I didn't realize is that it's very light despite it being so warm. Perfect to take along on trips. So happy I purchased this jacket.

I bought this coat two years ago and living in the northwest it's my go-to daily coat! Warm but not bulky and keeps me dry in the rain!

The jacket fits well and looks nice. I was concerned that it might make a rustling noise but it doesn't

This could be the best coat that I have ever purchased. The fit is good with room for a medium layer underneath if the weather warrants. The length is perfect as well - both overall and sleeves. I have trouble with sleeves being too long and these are good. The weight is deceptively light but very warm. I use it on dry days for protection from wind and it holds up in moderate rainfall. The hood is adjustable and the zippers in the back and cuff liners are great features generally only found in more expensive coats. Wow, can you tell that I like this coat? I highly recommend it.
I am 5 feet 3 inches tall and weigh 116. The small petite was an excellent fit for me.

I bought this coat a few years ago to take on a trip to Iceland. It was great! I still wear it a lot at home with Missouri winters

Love this jacket! I ordered a medium and it was a perfect fit. It runs true to size. Great for cool and rainy days. Would be a little too warm for summer days. I like that the jacket runs a little long-hits near the hips. I walked in the pouring rain and stayed toasty warm and dry.

This is a great coat! It's lightweight but warm. Feels and looks like it was sewn together with care.
It was expensive but worth every penny.

I spent a long time reviewing lots of different coats to replace a 20-yr old LLBean Gortex jacket. The hood, the hip zips for comfort sitting, the pit zips for not getting overheated shoveling snow or cross-country skiing, the knit sleeve liners for preventing snow from getting in the arms of the coat, the waterproof seams and adjustable waist are all great. I live in Chicago, walk a lot even in winter, wanted a coat that isn't too bulky. On a 20-degree day walking the dog, I was comfortable in jeans, a thin merino wool sweater and this coat. This is the most expensive coat I've ever purchased but given that its predecessor lasted 20 yrs I'm hoping this one will too. For sizing, I'm 5'/130lbs and the Petite Small fits me perfectly.

I originally thought I would only wear this when it's raining, but I grab for it almost every day because it is warm, stylish, and comfortable. I'm 5'6 117 lbs and I like size Small because I can layer as much as I want underneath and still get it on easily and not feel constricted. When it's extra cold and I'm going to be outside a lot and it's not raining, I do grab for a heavier coat. From my experience so far, it really is waterproof. This is my favorite jacket. No detail was missed: well fitting hood, zippered pockets, etc. Top quality.

This is the perfect jacket for me! It's lightweight yet warm and waterproof. I go to Norway frequently and this fits the bill for all those rainy months. I am not a bulky coat wearer and hate the extra weight most winter coats come with but not this one. Love the length and the back zippers to accommodate sitting if needed. Just all around a quality coat! I am 5'6" and 195lbs - xl was exactly what i needed. Fit is perfect.

I am so glad I bought this jacket. I'm anticipating a warmer and wetter winter this year and wanted something that was waterproof and insulated. This jacket doesn't disappoint! So far I've worn this coat in rain, mist, wet snow and in temps as low as 22 degrees while staying warm and comfortable. The hood is of ample size and can fit easily over a winter hat for added protection. With a fleece underlayer I can see using this jacket through much of this winter. A great buy!

PERFECTLY CLASSIC, SIGHTLY FITTED IS SLIMING YET ROOMY ENOUGH BELOW THE WAISTLINE. THE FABRIC IS SOFT AND COMFY YET INSULATED FOR WARMED. I HAVE THIS SAME JACKET IN TWO COLORS AS I LOVE IT SO MUCH! I'M 5' 100 LB AND I GOT THE XXS REG (AS I PERFER THE LONGER LENGTH) THIS JACKET IS A MUST HAVE.

Love this jacket! It's warm w/out a lot of weight, lots of movability throughout the shoulders and arms, and love that it's waterproof (haven't checked that feature out yet, though). Very flattering fit. The only drawback is the zipper. I'm not sure why LLBean's manufacturer is having such a difficult time w/zippers, but this isn't the first piece of outwear that has had that problem. I hope their quality care team starts fixing that! Other than that, I highly recommend this jacket.

Purchased this for my elderly Mom for a November trip to Switzerland. This was nice and lightweight for travel and kept her warm without a lot of bulk in the cool, wet days of Fall in the Alps. The waterproof quality was evident as well as decent stain resistance. The fit was comfortable, as she likes things loose (she's a size 10 and we bought a large- perfect for her layers with a loose fit).
We chose the purple- it is more of dark purple- quite neutral- though the magenta lining is more of a pink.
Overall a winning combination and great quality. She's looking forward to continued use of this jacket at home for all but the coldest days.

This jacket is very light, and very versatile, very good when traveling and easy to pack. I love the warmth of this jacket, the zippers and function of this jacket. My only regret was sizing up, to allow for layering and/or bulky sweaters and sweatshirts. This made me look a little bit unflattering. So I suggest sticking to your true size

Very good jacket. I wore it when it was raining, windy and nasty out. This jacket was so comfortable - light and warm and comfortable. I also like the two zippers on the bottom back sides, makes wearing this jacket so comfortable when sitting in a car or anywhere.
