light weight but warm down jacket. Like that it comes below the waist. Would recommend wearing a warmer sweater under the vest when the temperature is below 40 degrees. Easy to pack and doesn't take up much room. I ordered a petite small and it fits perfectly. I'm 5' 2' and 113 pounds.

Lightweight, stylish and a flattering fit! Perfect for all my outdoor activities in the fall. It runs big so I had to exchange it for a size smaller. Very happy with my (green) vest.

Soooo warm yet so light! I wore it while grocery shopping & never felt hot, yet walked outside in the cool air & felt cozy & warm. I love the feel of it too. It is amazing!

Why do I love this vest? Pockets, pockets, pockets - all with zippers that keep your essentials secure and your hands free. It eliminates the need for a purse. I got the pink, which is nice although I'm not sure why there's a different color on the upper left but the real thing looks better than the photo. It's warm without being bulky and you can store it in its own pocket.

I must have pockets. Also I have long fingers and need ample pockets for must have stuff for travel. Medicine, passport, keys, phone, checkbook, wallet, glasses, cable, wipes This vest is adequate for travel! Leave everything in pockets, remove vest and send through security conveyor.

I ordered this a size down from my usual size, based on other reviews and am glad I did. Shoulders usually are my hardest part to fit, so the lack of sleeves made it easy. (Sadly, I can't wear the jacket in this line because the shoulder/sleeve combo pinches.) The color is perfect for my kids' high school and swim teams, so this will be perfect to layer over their team shirts. It flares a bit at the hip, which I think would be great for those who are more pear shaped, but still looks nice on me, someone with straight hips and more of a tummy.

The fit is great. And the vest is nice and light.

The vest is very comfortable to wear however it fits too big even over a thick golf top. I like the weight for cool days.

This vest is very well made and very comfortable to wear. The blue color is neutral enough that it goes with most any other color. It is less bulky than the puffy type of vest and therefore I can wear it under a coat for extra warmth if needed.

I love my vest. I use it to layer when I ride my bike in cooler temps (in the 30s). It is lightweight, thin and yet keeps my core warm. So glad I bought it. Much better than the fleece vest I had been wearing. It has good pockets too.

Perhaps, I should've ordered a size smaller. I was taking into consideration many layers of clothing. If you're only going to wear a light weight under it, use your normal size.

Bought one for myself and gifted one to my daughter in law for Xmas this year. I like to have a lightweight vest over my flannel shirts and this is perfect for that. Washes and wears well. It does appear little on the longer side but I keep my vest mostly open. But when I zip it I have no problem. I have black hers is the silver blue..I'd buy more but a bit pricey.

Very Satisfied! I like to take a vest when I travel and this one is so light and easy to pack. Also while walking on a cold morning; it's perfect. Not bulky but warm and stops the wind. For sizing, try a size smaller than you normally wear. All my other clothing items from LL Bean (and I have many) are either small or medium but I needed an x-small in this vest.

This is a great vest. It is light enough to pack easily and warm enough to wear on its own or as a layering piece. I am fairly tall (6'0) and I appreciate that it is a bit longer and fully covers my torso. It does run large and I had to purchase an extra small, so keep that in mind when purchasing. Highly recommended.

Really happy with this vest as it is exactly what I was looking for - warm but not puffy. Be aware it runs large and long. I would normally get a Small-Regular in LLBean tops but based on these reviews I got a XS- Regular and there is still plenty of room to fit a sweater underneath.

This vest is a great color of blue. It is super light weight so easy to carry along in a back pack just in case. It is also super warm. I have it in both black and blue. Love it!
