This vest was perfect for our recent trip to Alaska. Not only did it fold down so tiny that we barely noticed its impact on our suitcase, it was lightweight and I honestly forgot I was wearing it half the time! Kept me warm and fit perfectly under my heavier/waterproof L.L. Bean jacket with no obvious bulges. Would recommend!

I purchased the packable vest as a companion to my packable jacket. Paired with my packable raincoat, I was warm and dry during a cold, rainy, two week camping trip in Iceland. I'm a 5'1", 72 year old. I bought a large in the store because I didn't have time to order! It lived up to my expectation. Best purchase ever!

I purchased the Marnier Blue size XXS 6 years ago and still my favorite! I wear it regularly over scrubs at work. It is warm and stylish with great pockets. I am 5'10 and 130. I found I need to size down with LL Bean to get the correct fit for tall and lean frame. I have washed this vest hundreds of times and it hold up great! Since 2018, I have purchased this vest in black, juniper green and brambleberry. Tapers to fit my frame much better than many other brands that are boxy in their sizing. This fits great over a base layer with jeans, capris, rain pants, yoga pants, scrubs. Highly recommend. I wear year round and always keep an eye out for new colors.

I wore this vest every day on a recent Alaska tour. It is lightweight , thin yet warm. I wore over a shirt and also under a raincoat or jacket as Alaska required many layers. It's slightly longer in back which is attractive and warm. This vest is perfect for travel.

I took this on a trip to Europe. It was wonderful. It is warm and very light. Even though I stuffed it in a pack pack it came out perfect.

I have several packaway vests and wear them year-round, both for casual and travel. They wash beautifully and always look good. I wear them as a layering piece in winter, with parkas or rain jackets. The new color "shore" is very pretty, a soft color that will go with most anything. While I'd prefer "no logo," the logo on the front of the vest is not obtrusive. Love this new color!

This is a lightweight vest providing great warmth in chilly temps. Conveniently packable. Lots of zippered pockets. A bit of a waistline. Nice length. Perfect in every way.

Love this vest! It's the perfect thing for around the house or out during cool weather. Just enough. The zip pockets are perfect! I use it instead of a handbag--and love it that there's one exterior chest pocket and one interior chest pocket on the opposite side. It is so much more useful than similar ones with only one pocket. This vest fits well, has a nice silhouette, and is warm. So lightweight--and as the name claims, easily packable. I also like the extra length; it doesn't ride up and cause a chill when bending over.

This is a great product. Ultra light which is what I wanted for a trip. I ordered the teal color which is great. I ordered the XL Petite, but it was too snug to comfortably wear something underneath. I wish there had been XXL Petite. Does not work for me to wear regular or plus womens. I sadly returned it...

I got this recently thinking it would provide an extra layer of warmth on unpredictable spring days on a trip to see the eclipse/family in AR. It did not dissapoint. It was perfect for the cool spring evenings. I also found the the four main zipper pockets very helpful for holding my phone, earbuds, keto bar, and backup charger on the flight. Didn't think of that when I bought it. But it made travel easier and I'm not sure I'll fly without it again. Brava LL Bean!

Great vest! Very light weight and a little longer than most vests with better CYA. Runs large so I had to order a size smaller.

These days look for pockets 1st then other qualities. Too often in clothes I need for outdoor activities, when I dont want to carry a purse, there is no pocket that my phone fits in securely if theres any pocket at all. This vest has 3 zippered pockets for phone, wallet, etc. Its lightweight, easliy fits over a sweater and under a coat. This vest comes down over my hips. I have it in blue and black. I'm 5'4, weigh 130 # and medium fits well.

Perfect vest for cool but not cold days. Blocks the wind. Good length. Not bulky so comfortable to wear. Enough pockets to hold phone etc.
