This lightweight vest has been my base layer all winter. I wear it under my coat on really cold days, and it keeps me warm in my cold office. It's impressive how warm it is, even though it is so thin!

Perfect for travel. It's lightweight and warm. I can layer it over a jacket which in effect makes it a coat. I can layer it under a coat for those below zero days. Or wear alone for a cool day. The generous pockets will handle my small wallet and a phone. Flattering fit.

I purchased this Vest for travel to Europe, knowing it would be very cold. I was right. It was extremely cold and icy. So, I used this Vest under another coat which was rain proof. So, bundled up with this Vest, Warm scarf, Gloves and the other Coat I was all set for my Christmas trip to Brussels.

A good extra layer on cold days. I like the length and pockets. I already have one of these vests in another color that I wear often.

I wore this over a flannel shirt and was very comfortable on a very windy beach in Ventura, CA. Temp was about 58, so it wasn't that cold. Ok for Southern California.

My granddaughter loves this vest. It's light weight but warm.

This vest is just what I was looking for in a not-too-hot vest to wear on chilly days. I looked at many brands for the combination of features I wanted and this Bean vest met my criteria at the best price point. I trust the Bean brand for quality and have not been disappointed in any of my previous purchases.

I am normally 4 or a small. I ordered this in small and it fits perfectly. I love that it fits into its own pocket making a pouch with a little loop to carry it!! I've worn it several times already. It keeps me warm on my morning walks. The blue color is great and goes with everything

Love, love, love this vest, bought the blue then couldn't wait to buy the off-white. Being a little chesty, this vest is not too bulky and in my face all day but still keeps me warm. The fit is perfect, not too short or long, the fabric has a little sheen and great color. Looks good over anything and doesn't get all bunched up. I would definately buy another.

I have purchased two different colors (blue & Shore) of this vest, and I'm thrilled with the quality, lightness and warmth. It is perfect for Florida's winters although I'm sure it would be lovely to wear on cooler to cold days up north. I highly recommend this vest.

Vest looks great. Light color works well with ivory/ecru clothing - nice neutral. Excellent lightweight warmth. Found it runs a bit large. Normally wear S and switched to XS

Took me a long time to find a vest that fit well, looks nice, and is warm! Having a collar that stands and keeps the neck warm on windy days yet lays open when not needed and looks good both ways is fabulous! Love it's packaway pocket - it takes so little space in the suitcase.

In the LLBean store, I was able to see, feel, and try on several choices of women's vests. At first, I passed by this packable choice, simply because I thought it seemed expensive for what I perceived I'd be getting, seemed thin. Ha! It is fabulous!! This Primaloft Vest is worth every penny! It serves as a wonderful standalone, or as a layer. Absolutely love it!! Great length, fabulous weight, and well made. Thanks LLBean!

Love the brambleberry color and the light pink color. This vest needs more color options every season. It is such a wardrobe staple year round.

I took this vest (in gray) on a recent fishing trip to Kodiak, AK. It was the perfect light layer along with the quilted (zip neck) tunic I bought from LLB a few years back. I wore both with a merino base layer and a waterproof shell on top. I will get lots of wear from it through the fall.
